Yes! He is a lot like Severus. Dear Alan even said every year when he put on that costume it was like greeting an old friend and a part of himself. He also said, after his surgery in 2006, before the filming of OOTP....see it through ...it's your story. It was Alan's story as much, if not more than it was Severus'story. That's why there can never be another Severus Snape ❤️
