“ALARM Bells Start Ringing!” - Prince William Pulls Out Of Funeral Over ‘Personal Reasons’

The Prince of Wales has pulled out of attending a memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece at Windsor Castle due to a ‘personal matter’.
Kensington Palace would not elaborate further but said the Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, continues to be doing well.
William, who was due to deliver a reading, called the Greek royal family who are attending the service in St George’s Chapel to let them know he was unable to attend.
Constantine II of Greece, who died in January last year, was William’s godfather.
Kate is away from official royal engagements until after Easter following major surgery in January.
The King is also missing the service as he continues treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

I know this from personal experience and was out of commission for 4 weeks. Was going crazy not being able to do anything. Speculation is not often a good idea if news networks want to be credible. Demanding 'what's going on' is hardly respectful. You may be overestimating how much gossip your viewers wish to hear. The working Royals are doing a wonderful job. They are always respectful of us. Surely you can show them respect and be kind. Allow them their privacy.

It's known now that a close friend of Williams died that same morning. He was married to one of Williams cousins I believe. So perhaps that is the reason William felt unable to attend the memorial service...understandably so.

Apparently, I heard on another channel (Neil Sean, who is very well connected) that it was something to do with the kids. Maybe one is ill and William didn't want to risk giving anything to those who will be around the King in the coming days, but also his aunt, Fergie, was there and she must be having treatment too. Or maybe it is simply that one of the kids (they are still young) was having a wobble and Catherine was struggling with it all (and trust me, recovery from abdo surgery is a struggle that is even tougher with young kids at home, I've been there) and William decided the right place for him was to be at home. Either way, it's their personal issue and if they want us to know, they will tell us.

It wouldn't surprise me if the sudden death of Thomas Kingston is the reason William didn't go to the memorial. Just because they werent regularly photographed together doesn't mean they werent friends. So imagine having to go to a public even after hearing that news! It would be awful. Imagine how his wife feels as well, she wouldve known him as well from the days of her sister dating him. Horrible all round.
