The Wild would be insane to trade him. I'm an Avs fan and relish in any misery the Wild get but even I hope the Wild don't trade him and know that would be insane

It make no sense trading rossi they are putting together a nice little young core the team is in Cap hell for like another season rossi has not been the issue its some of the vets around him that hasnt helped him im excited for when the european wild prospects coming to the states the twitter thread is not reliable source.

Rossi has been mismanaged by Evason and Hynes by getting paired with scrubs like Johansson, Foligno, Freddy Gaudreau, and Hartman. He produces a lot more when he plays with actual talent like Kaprizov and Zucc. Trading him wouldn't be the worst idea if they can get a stud defenseman or a top-6 winger after seeing how they just signed Riley Heidt.

Jiricek was brought up because Zach Werenski took a blast off his foot and spent two days in a walking boot. In the event Werenski couldn't play, they had to have Jiricek available. Jiricek will be in the Jackets top 6 next year.

The Wild need to look how Vegas uses Jonathan Marchessault to use Rossi to his best ability.

Rossi trade talk for size makes no sense..... 1. spurgeon is tiny and is also the only capt in the league who is on DEF except Roman Josi and sprugeon is no Josi, too small, too big of a contract, no offense and always hurt. so if anyone needs to go, its him but how do you move that....? 2. Marat is smaller than Marco.... 3. rite now, 2nd in rookie goal scoring, why would a GM trade a rookie 20+ goal scorer and if Faber wasn't so dang good, Rossi would be a candidate for calder but lose to that Glass Joe kid in chicago. on the flip side, what would ya get in return?

Spurgeon would need to waive his NMC and the Wild would need to retain %50 of his salary. It isn't happening BUT I can definitely see Sprugeon going on LTIR after a failed comeback which would free up $7.5M in Cap.

I can the Wild trading Rossi. BG has said that only way to get top center is in the draft or by trade. If we remember BG did try to get Michael. BG also trade Fiala cause he dint think he was worth the money. BG I think has very clear cut Idea of what top center and winger in the NHL looks like. If BG could move Rossi and us that to move up in the draft for center that the Wild like I would not rule that out. At the end of the day Rossi is good player but most likely is 60 point and 3rd line center on cup team.

I can see trading Marco Rossi to bring in Danila Yurov. Yurov didn't think there was room for him after the contract signings. Now there's room for him. To bring Yurov over sooner. If the Wild trade Rossi if anything I'd like to get a big RD back in exchange. David Jiricek fits that description. Faber and Jiricek on the right side for the Wild will be epic! The Jackets get another C. The Wild get a big RD. They still maintain their 1st rd pick to draft an impact player. This is how Guerin can recover. Other than that I don't see any point of trading him.

Yurov isn’t coming over sooner. Yurov is a winger that’s has played C and Rossi is a C so what are you talking about

@@italian1ist Lmao the fact you justified my comment. Yurov can play C and scouts have talked about him transitioning to the NHL as a C. Do your research before you’re going to troll.

@@italian1ist Yurov could come as early as next fall, that is, if he didn't sign the 1 year KHL extension on February 12th. He said he did and Russo said he didn't. Who knows. Also, Yurov's issue was the AHL. He doesn't want to spend 1 second in the minors. He will be a wing if/when he arrives in MN.

The Wild are TOO Small overall. There's always room for a couple small players but Wild have 5+. Rossi is a keeper though. Shaw, Lettieri, Raska, Zuccarello (age) are too many.
