Why do 1000 feet sound like a horn instead of a voice like lower feet though?
@bladi-senpai9398 Жыл бұрын
Because they already know what that sounds is, or like when the plane is about to level off, they recognize that sound

Curious: why do some of them (the male sounds basically) sound identical to Boeing?
@ThomasFarquhar2 Жыл бұрын
Those would be the GPWS callouts, I'm completely guessing here but I assume it's either standardised across manufacturers to make it easier to identify or embraer just bought Boeing GPWS systems
@YouTubePoopBR111 ай бұрын
@@ThomasFarquhar2 actually both boeing and embraer (as well as other manufacturers such as Fokker, McDonnel Douglas and ATR) uses GPWS made by the same manufacturer (I think it's Honeywell), that's why it sounds the same.
