Thanks, Alasdair for the wide-ranging video - and that’s not just your glances away from camera! I was so pleased to see the academy players get significant game time the other night: it is something a lot of us fans have been asking for. The fact that they performed so well was fantastic. It means that there should be more opportunities for all the youngsters in the near future. I was particularly impressed with Scarlett’s contributions and the header for his goal was one that Richy would have been proud to have scored. Great to see Ajayi’s goal and Mikey Moore’s tremendous run and goal at the end. As for incoming transfers I fear that Spurs will most likely be overcharged for player as it is obvious that they are desperate. The repeated cries for help from Ange will have not gone unnoticed by other clubs. Unless someone is going to be able to help the current situation then why throw silly money at someone who in normal times the club would not bother looking at?

Alisdair, the thing most pundits miss about Angeball is the amount of defensive work required of the forwards. When our front five are playing every game, twice a week, they make more mistakes and they are slower to drop back and defend outside the 18 yard box. Conversely, a key feature of VDV and Romero is their ability to launch attacks. In Ange's upside down world, the front five are key to defence and the back five are key to attacking. It was the same at Celtic, Yokohama and Brisbane Roar. Tottenham can win the Premier League if they stick with Ange. COYS.

If this was being done in the summer I would have said we could be spending £50m+ more wisely on an winger/forward than on a teenager who can’t get many minutes at Bayern but has yet more “potential”. We have so many players with potential and I think we need some more players of the Solanke profile who still have room for improvement but can deliver from day one and have more experience. Let’s hope we see something done before Monday as clearly the money is there.

Good evening Mr Giold, Watching those three young players score was really good. For you it must have been a little extra as I'm sure you have covered them since they were 15 lol. This three players shows what playing with no fear brings, Moore goal was special , he didn't have the best of nights yet kept going and his drive and will to score got him his goal, that's all the marks of a great player. With regards to Tel it seems he was using Spurs to bluff BM , an BM called him on it , He was never wanting to leave BM and just throwing his toys out of the pram , If he really wanted first team football he would have join Spurs , he has shown his mindset and he would not fit the group of players that are at Spurs, The window was always going to be hard as players don't have the WC or Euros to play for they can sit and be a sub this season. Spurs will have a good run an these group of players have a point to prove.

Levy only flew there thinking he could buy tel today for 50mil that would be instalments, then sell him for 100 mil in a year. We don’t need tel, he’s too young, not scored a goal this season & not what you need a in a relegation fight. You need a proven prem goalscorer or if you want a young goal scorer there’s gimenez at feyenoord. Also if you really want a player you agree a deal & pay him a wage that he won’t turn down. Levy got what he deserved, he should be signing players weeks ago.

Objectively speaking has there ever been a night more worth celebrating in the history of THFC? 4 academy graduates 3 scoring their first goals in front of the home support to put the club through in Europe. Incredible. 5 or 6(?) teenagers on the pitch. Has there ever been a more fertile period in our history? What’s that, Levy out(?). When asked about his personal satisfaction Ange sidestepped to ‘made in Tottenham’. That’s not management, that’s leadership. Ange is not a coach. Ange Ball is not a tactic it’s effective delegation of authority and fearless leadership Personally I couldn’t give two hoots if some player somewhere doesn’t want to come. On the transfer front. Lange and by proxy Lecy have backed themselves into a corner due to lack of capable planning and execution. They have had months to plan (prior to the injuries) to identify and work on the right players with interest in coming to Spurs. Then when the injury crisis hit exponentially increasing the need for reinforcements in the first week or at least second of the month they failed miserably!! So as Spurs slump to loss after loss in the league (Ange has some blame due to not using players like Reggie and Djed to give players rest) now players look at us (I’d imagine) as being involved in a relegation battle due to league placing cups aside. So with each players turning us down publicly we are now in a scramble to pay more for lesser targets (again I’d imagine) all in the reality of players in early in Jan would have helped prevent this situation. In summation Lange and Levy have let Ange, the squad, the fans and therefore as a whole down club down by their inability to do their jobs and hiring someone who has failed in role. So where will the repercussions be?? Likely only Ange being booted after Lange and Levy hung him out to dry. Lange and Levy continue to pick up huge pay packets whilst the footballing side of the club suffers.

Tottenham will always be the fall back option for elite players. Either because they couldn't get their prefered club or they see Spurs as a way to showcase their ability to play in the Prem to 'bigger' clubs i.e. Berbatov to Man Utd. The inconvenient truth for us all is that Daniel Levy does not pay players competitive wages, compared to Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea etc. So until that changes, and it hasn't in 25 years, we will never attract the elite players that are needed to be at the top table on a consistent basis.

I have just seen Lankshear loaned to West Brom and no immediate signs of new forward coming in. Ange didnt use him much recently .It appears he is not up to playing Ange ball Perhaps the great Timo is close to resuming duties

Levy needs to GO. No ambition, no desire no need to make us a football club. He wants to make us a multi sport project for his pocket. Why did we hire Lange? He’s awful genuinely.

Garnacho would be an excellent signing, the type of signing spurs with a proper chairman would be signing. Spurs signing a star from Man Utd would be a statement which is why it won’t happen.
