The Banality of comments challenging the integrity of our side and supporters was a step too far. Those people who don’t understand football is played with a round ball surely aren’t serious providers of intellect so why did this banal echo go on for so long.

we have to be honest tho. Son has had a really poor 2nd half of the season. So has maddison, bissouma. kulesevski has done nothing. Its been a good season because i have no idea how we are fifth given the 2nd half of this season lol. This season demonstrated how weak our attacking threat is

I’ve never felt like this going into a game. I’ve always wanted Tottenham to win matches because my love for Tottenham is greater than my envy/hatred for my rivals. But today is different, if we win we have a chance of making it to the Champions League and although that is worth fighting for I personally think for the long-term benefit of my club, Europa league would be a better tournament to get into. We have some of the most exciting players that I have ever seen in the Academy. They finished top of the under 21 league, and are in the final of the under 21s PL trophy. I would love them to get their chance (similar to Harry Kane did in the Europa league) next season and see if they cut it. Players like Santiago, Donley, Dorrington, Hall, Lanshear, Devine, and so many more could get into our first team squad. They just need a chance. Whether the club has that long-term view is another thing.

watched Bayer Leverkusen and realised how much they play as we did in the first few months, but they do it for 90 minutes and so many shots from outside the box

I'm optimistic for next season, and I appreciate this is season 1, but we scraped past a terrible Burnely, it's not a great look. We definitely need better attackers because Deki is awful and BJ isn't much better. If we had anything about us as a club we'd go all-in for Eze and/or Olise ASAP. We also need to secure VDV to a monster contract because that boy is gonna be genuinely world-class at this rate, and there are probably less than 7-8 world-class CBs in the world these days. Romero is looking good again lately, another we need to tie down.

As I've said before , this is the only Spurs fan page I'll listen to now. There is too much hysterical behaviour off the other fan pages. I appreciate that we are starved of trophies, but I am sure we will get there! We needed to get through this season, and I think we are nailed on 5th place now?! All things considered, that's not bad at all. Especially how apocalyptic everyone thought it was going to be.

My objection to Romero holding onto the ball too much is that he was often doing it in situations where there was no press to invite. It's not a good tactic if we're dominating posession and the defense is sitting back in a low block. He's been better recently though.

@@MrGraywood7 How can you play a winger that refuses to go one on one against against the fullback? It's quite obvious he's not a 10 at this level. Perhaps he's a backup for Destiny. How much longer do we try to find him a spot?

I hear what your saying, but from day one I've always thought Deki is played out of position. He has skill but he lacks speed. He's played in a number 10 position for us and for previous teams and I think he's more suited there. I'd have liked to see him rotate with Madders this season but feel it's too late for him now. We'll probably go and buy another number 10 and Deki will either be sold or used as a squad player.

@@marcolearmont9880 His intelligence or lack of it is also a big concern. He gives stupid fouls away in bad areas. The Everton equalizer and the Chelsea free kick goal to name but two. He played as a 10 a couple of weeks ago and got yanked, I can only imagine what Lo Selso must have thought.

@@darrellwilliams610 Romero also makes a lot of stupid mistakes. I thought Deki played ok against City. I think Ange’s system will take time but I really don’t think Deki is done yet. I think he’ll be a decent squad player next season, just like Werner. We just need to shop well, but a clinical striker and some decent defenders and a defensive midfielder and then we’ll have a decent chance of top 4. The big change is needed in set pieces and having a plan B. Ange needs more in his locker than just the high line!

Would love to see more of Gio- even in the Biss role. I remember under Jose he was good in the deeper role, passes forward and loves a tackle too. Great content as always. Voice of reason stuff

Dekky, is a good squad player, if the money's right, move on Richy, try for SesKo from Leverkusen, and a monster 6 we're pathetic in front of goal at present, ask yourself, would Madders get into either of the top 3 teams, I can't see it

Sesko plays for RB Leipzig not Leverkusen, but I agree we should go for him. I think he's the closest comparison to Kane and is a clinical finisher. He's exactly what we need and would come at a decent price.

I think GLC has been wasted by Ange. His posture may have been coloured by the player's track record at the club, but GLC has shown enthusiasm and professionalism under Ange and didn't deserve to be so neglected. What is more, i think he and Hojbjerg have the right mentality that Ange is looking for. And as you say, we are going to need a bigger squad for next season, as this group has been looking gassed with the bare minimum fixture list (although appallingly scheduled by the EPL, with big gaps followed by a crush of matches - that goes for the women's schedule too) and we will not only have European football next season but hopefully also some extended cup runs.

My friend, we are playing a distateful football and Postecoglou needs to go. Body language of many players tell us everything we need to know. We conceded way too many goals, we got kicked out of both domestic cups, we are still in the top 6 because Utd and Newcastle messed up many games. Nothing actually positive to cheer up. IF Postecoglou stays, the first 7 games of the next year will be 4 defeats, 2 draws, and 1 win. Postecoglou will get sacked anyway. Trust me, he's stubborn, no plan b, disrespect players and full of negative energies.

We haven't been so bad this season 5th guaranteed finish after 8th last season. Don't forget the small matter of losing the 30 goals a season and one of the best strikers in the world! No replacement and losing both our centre backs, Maddison for 2 months and then sonny or other star striker a month for the Asian championship and 3 star players for a month in the African championship! The new manager in his first season in the Premier League won the first 3 managers of the month topped the league the first two months until injuries and match bans then player absences told dropping us all the way down the table to fifth! Oh and the numerous club records that were broken among which was the unbeaten run record by a new manager. So this shocking performance by Ange in his first season after two transfer windows! No I definitely agree with you that he should go! I mean he should have at least won the league for a minimum! What a disgrace! You didn't say who we should replace him with? I think you should put your hat in the ring for your insights alone!

@dbash2004 Many of you forget quickly. Mourinho, Conte, and Nuno Espirito were also unbeaten on their first 7-8 games. VAR helped us on at least 2 games in the beginning, too. Manager of the month, they had it as well. Postecoglou does not know how to draw a game when it's complicated. It's scary. Plus, others know how to change a formation, and he doesn't. Players don't want to play for him. Look closely. You think I hate the guy, but he's simply not on the level of great managers. You want him to be backed up by us and Levy. He showed absolutely no signs that we should. Name me a manager who bought as many players, rarely plays them, and send them on loans with a lot of disrespect?! That's not who we are. Veliz, Phillips, Spence, Rodon, Reguilon, Dragusin, and Lo Celso have been disrespected on a daily basis. Richarlison played left winger, Emerson Royal CB, Skipp played left back and more BS... He does not respect our players on the bench either. He has no clue and expirement with our club. He will be replaced maybe by Will Still, Fonseca, Nagelsmann, or Graham Potter.

The ideal scenario would be for Villa to lose both their remaining games. Spurs to take a point off City and batter Sheff Utd to take 4th on GD. Then, for City to absolutely hammer West Ham to swing the GD to their favour and win the title.

I’m one of those Al that say Romero holds onto the ball too long. Knowing when to use that tactic and when not is the key. Many times there have movement up front and momentum is lost. I hate it Al with a passion. Our first goal conceded against Arsenal, was a diagonal back pass instead of lobbing it forward. It ended up being a corner for EPH own goal. Also the odd hospital pass given with that tactic.

Ali, Ange ball is fantastic to watch and can be devastating but I csn only recall 2 games where we have played it for 90 mins consistently, Newcastle at home and Villa away. What's your opinion on it being playable for a whole season? I think Ange has to tweak his tactics in order to be successfull in the prem, and we need 5 or 6 new players that are able to play it consistently.

See people saying we should sell Ritchie but if we sell him we need to buy two players which he harder as sure plan is to strengthen that area - and getting one good striker in tough but to get two makes it really hard - solanke and Ritchie is good options - plus one of veliz lankshear scarlet - if Kompany does stay at Burnley def think we should be offering them one of those 3 on loan as they def need a striker and we need to get them game time in English football not abroad

Only wins we have had in the last 11 games, is at home to Forrest, Luton and Burnley. And we were not convincing in any of those performances. Papering over the cracks. Still willing to give Ange time, but very worrying signs. Especially with a 99% fit squad.

I think testament to the quality of your videos was how much I missed them. It has been an awful fortnight and I was constantly checking to see if you were back. 😂 Good to see you again and glad you had a fab holiday, you look re-energized.....maybe I need a trip to Croatia!
