This was a FLEX takeoff not TOGA. On most aircraft, the climb thrust gradually increases up to a certain point (Mach transition) then slightly decreases. The A321neo is heavier than the A320neo but uses the same engines. Hence they bumped up the max N1 ratings on the 321neo, which produces this distinct growl with thrust increase. That’s a perfectly normal climb. I have a couple of videos of the A321neo on my channel that have a similar buzzsaw.

toga power is never applied after takeoff, the LEAP just rises in N1 percentage the higher you climb, with what is called thrust limits, a function of speed, and a bunch of other factors.

Something about the high pitched frequency of a LEAP engine that sounds annoying to me
