Of course there’s rain! We live in a rainforest!

Yes, so true. Which is why we make sure to let folks know how to plan, or adapt to Alaska's plan at least!

We’re leaving today to do the same cruise. So your honest review, and weather report, was super helpful. Added a lot of value to watch!

That’s the only tour we are doing in Juneau Mendenhall glacier $80 pp independent tour. Will be September for us, mentally ready for rain and cold day. Great video, thank you. Tell me we will love it 😍looks beautiful
@m2seacrew5 ай бұрын
@@charojones7488 it is beautiful. Some of the buses will allow you to stay for a while. There is so much to do, trails to wander, plus the visitors center. We ran out of time and didn’t get to do everything.

Way to keep a Positive Attitude 👍 Those Crab 🦀 Legs were Huge!!! 😍😋😍😋

They were, and they were a lot more expensive than we would have imagined in Alaska...

Great video folks. Alaska is a place I would love to visit one of these days without a doubt. Your video is making "one of those days" sooner :)

Sorry about the bad weather but it looks like y'all made the most of it. I love salmon and would like to try that salmon chowder. Thanks for posting!

Gotta roll with the (weather) punches in Alaska. Never know what you’ll get. Smoked salmon isn’t too bad.

You missed out by not going to mendenhall glacier. Long walk thru rainforest with flowers to bottom of waterfall at base of glacier. We even spotted a porcupine in a tree while walking there. We only saw 4 whales on the whale quest boat. Saw more out of our balcony.
@m2seacrew5 ай бұрын
We may have been there the same day. We did go to Mendenhall, saw a porcupine on the walk to Nugget Falls, and the glacier. We just didn't stick with the original tour since we would have been overcharged for the trip to the Glacier. Thanks for watching!

We seen more whales sailing out of Seattle than we did in our excursion,they were so far away every time but still neat to see.

I would rent a vehicle through Turo & go to mendenhall glacier in our own & explore more of Juneau on our own . Glad you took the bus though :)
@m2seacrew5 ай бұрын
We've never actually used Turo. Will have to try that sometime. Thanks for the advice!

YES! Finally someone agreed with me on the so called "Crisp." A crisp is supposed to have an oaty crunchy topping, thus why it's called crisp. The various "crisps" on the ship tasted like some warmed fruit filling with uncooked dry cake mix sprinkled on top. I was NOT a fan. :) Every one I saw looked the same. However, seeing those crab legs again made me hungry. Gosh, they were awesome.
@m2seacrew5 ай бұрын
That's it exactly. Even the redone one wasn't baked enough. Strange that they do so many things really well, and fail at something simple. The crab legs were awesome, but expensive. Thanks for watching!
