Joas my friend, you should ALWAYS use your safety glasses while using any kind of grinding tools or chain saws. Your eyes are extremely important; small pieces of metal or wood imbedded into the eye can permanently cause poor vision or blindness. You are so talented and God gave you so many precious abilities. Happy birthday Priscilla sounds like you are going to have a great one. Those salmon look delicious and another great way to make the salmon is soke them in milk like over night and then deep fry them. They'll make everybody's socks go up and down 😊. Yummy

Awesome Video Joas! I am a Christian Woman in her late forties. So much in the Video made Me think of Oregon. Also some of my child hood growing up in North Eastern Oregon. Even My Years of being Married to my Husband! When I was a Young girl, my sister and I would go to the Mountains in the summer with our parents. So they could get wood to burn in our wood stove in the Fall and Winter. My Dad fished for Salmon in the River by our house in the Fall and Winter. We lived close to the Columbia River. My Mom has cut my Dad’s hair for years. My mom became a Hairdresser,when I was Young. I now help my husband cut his hair,even though I am not a Hairdresser. Our Family enjoys sitting around a Big Fire in the Fall. Sometimes in the Winter. The was very Lovely for You Joas to get a Propane Fire Pit, for Priscilla to sit by on the Porch! 😁I also enjoy being able to do that! Sounds like and looks like, the Garage Build might not happen this year. Could tell that You we’re very excited to fire up that chainsaw Joas and cut down the trees. So Praying the Garage build can happen!

love your adventures in our great state. I always find it fascinating how the cows seem to hide the bulls. They come in the yard every year harassing us and get into the barn and just tear things up till opening day and we don't see them again till snow flies. We even witnessed a cow running her bull calf off this year so she can prepare to calf again. The bull calf was so upset he turned and charged us in our front door. Enjoy fall!

You just keep finding better and better ways to show off Alaska! Great haircuts for the guys 👊 Glad to see your wonderful gathering of family and friends, great times I’m sure. I’m much closer to you than Michigan right now (but still a long way away). I’m with my youngest in Northern Alberta (about 2 hours north of Edmonton) with my youngest while he hunts giant whitetail 🦌 So far all he has seen are moose (a couple of nice bulls!). Great! enjoyed watching the family time - must be awesome to have such a huge family. Serving others with joy and genuineness of heart is one of the best gifts God has given us. The pity is that in today's world we have become more inclined towards having nuclear families basically because we feel we will lack if we share. Actually here is where the biblical principles of seedtime and harvest produce the hundredfold return. The more we sow - time, money, love, care, and such into others, the more actually comes back to us. This can only be understood when we 'know' (have an intimate revelation of), the love OF God. By the way Joas what was that gift you bought Priscilla for her birthday? What is it used for? Thanks for putting in a video of her birthday. Wonderful lady - hardworking and ingenious. It's better if you brine the fish for 2 days in the fridge, then left to dry at room temp for 2 days until it gets almost translucent, then it's ready for the smoker with Alder wood. It almost tastes like salmon candy

The grass came up fast and so lush. You guys do work fast and furious. Great bon fire. That smoked salmon looks delicious. I am confident you will soon get your Moose. There is an old saying back in Newfoundland, "I gotta get me Moose b'ye". Large families on low income needed the Moose and game to survive.
