It's Tuesday and Curt has edited together my drone footage from my recent trip to Alaska! I spent 11 days in The Last Frontier and experienced a bunch of spectacular sights from the Dalton Highway to North Pole to The Top of the World Highway. It was an awesome trip!

This is a very nice video. My Dad traveled to Alaska with a group, and he liked it better than the trip to Hawaii. I watch as many episodes of people living in Alaska. Thank you for sharing this venture. 🤟😎😊

I WORKED WITH AN RAILROAD FRIEND THAT SERVED AN MACHINIST APPRENTICESHIP IN SAN BERNARDINO CALIFORNIA WITH THE SANTA FE RR. SOMETIME AFTER FINISHING HIS APPRENTICESHIP, QUIT THE RAILROAD AND WENT TO ALASKA AND WAS AN WELDER ON THE PIPELINE. AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PIPELINE, WAS REHIRED BY THE SANTA FE AND WORKED AT ARGENTINE SHOP AS MACHINIST. WORKING WITH ME HE TOLD ME STORIES OF HIS TIME UP THERE! AT THE TIME, I WORKED WITH HIM , I SHOULD HAVE PUMPED HIM FOR MORE STORIES ABOUT HIS ALASKA ADVENTURE!

Those drone shots are just beyond belief. And the beauty that it shows is also grand. It must really be an eye opening teip up there. Maybe I was wrong for not following the pipe line construction crews up there when they went. Might if been another bad decision, but that is the way the cookie crumbles as Dennis the Menace always said.

I know you have a drone but how do you operate it and drive at the same time, or did you go up in a plane or helicopter? Both of which I would think would be noisy. However it sure is gorgeous country up in Alaska. Did you ever meet some Eskimos? I bet they could tell some great stories. Wasn't Coldfoot the town that had all of those T-shirts and other.souvenirs? Gee whiz, this has been a great trip so far and thank you for taking me along. Can't wait for Thursday's though I'll be busy again with grocery shopping. But it will be a great way to relax when I get home. Till then, happy trails to you and God bless.

I almost always am flying the drone and NOT driving. Although my drone does have a “follow” feature that I don’t use very often. I’m just pulled off the side of the road usually. Did not meet any eskimos. Everywhere except Wiseman had shirts to sell!

I’ve only been to Yellow Knife in the winter. Not much to see there. Circa 2006 and 7. I’ll be retiring in a few years and would like to make a driving trip thru AK.

@@robertodebeers2551 I cannot say about Kansas. But I am a native Iowan. And in school, they taught us that glaciers did cross Iowa. One glacier can from the east from Illinois, and blocked off the Iowa River Valley creating a prehistoric lake south of Iowa City. There were others, but do not remember the specifics of them. I grew up near where the valley was blocked, so that caught my attention. The lake was mainly in-between the current channels of the Iowa and Cedar Rivers, so would of been a big lake. The lake left a loamy sand that raises great watermelon and muskmelons. So if you are in the Conesville, Iowa area during August, stop in for great melons!
