It is s cool truck and having easy access to changing bulbs, and it is always good good. Most new stuff you need to dismantle stuff just to get access to things like bulbs and stuff. 🙂

Just had someone pull in front of me and hit their brakes which put me into their rear end last Wed. Now I have a lawyer in Wisconsin when I'm from wyoming. These stories are real folks, be careful out there. And thank goodness for eld cameras. My lawyer said get ready for a fight cause he's putting their insurance company on notice. And everyone wonders why Owner operators fold up. Keep trucking!

I'm sorry to hear it it's unfortunate we have to lawyer up to be treated fairly. I hope it works out in your benefit

Nice an '06 with 130,000 miles. Probably used to be an RV owner. That is barely broken it. Sounds like you are thinking of a Bigger SheBeast. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.

Supposedly, freightliner sells a base model for 8,000, of course increase in price according to motor you want and options.

A 265/75 tire is only 0.4" wider and 0.5" taller, and will throw your speedometer off by 0.8 mph at 60 (actual 59.2), but it's a whole lot cheaper than $900.

If u want a little bit more speed, you could get a 10 speed transmission. Just a thought

Nice rig. So with that 11k trailer how much cargo weight can you haul? Also what's the combined GVWR for truck and trailer? Thanks for the great videos.
@HotshotAdventuresАй бұрын
Ahhh I forgot about those specs Gvwr is 60k Trailer will hold 18k freight

My gosh, I don’t know if I wanna watch this whole video or not just making me nervous about my truck. I was gonna see about talking to you about leasing on this Duramax, but it looks like I need to have an M2 before I can come over and join the family

Lol! I'm not knocking any brand, I've heard horror, and I mean horror stories on all 3. Waiting for that caterpillar truck to come put and give us a 4th option I'd buy one of those

I'm glad he got a lawyer involved. Unless there is some sort of commercial-use exclusion, I can't see how this wouldn't be covered by the lemon law. Regarding the M2, I think it is a much better platform. While modern 1 ton pickups may be rated to haul the loads that y'all do, I don't think they will do it as long or as safely as a truck like that. They are still "light duty" trucks. It is a shame that modern diesels are so choked down w/emissions equipment. I'll bet that CAT engine is very reliable.
@HotshotAdventuresАй бұрын
Thanks for your comment ! Yes I'll keep you posted on both the lawyer and the m2 But I agree completely with you on all

I was told years ago by a r.v. hauler who when Thur tons of pickup trucks till he got a old peterbilt and 40 footer trailer the big truck was much better build and designed to last longer then a pickup truck which isn't build that great and don't last longer hauling heavy over long distances you may get 200 000 miles out of it
@genehart261Ай бұрын
'06, no DEF! Commercial duty truck will easily go 500,000 miles. Nice truck.

@HotshotAdventuresАй бұрын
That's what Jason told me too :) If I ever upgrade, I'll go all the way w 13 speed minimum and a tri axle 53 step low pro trlr w load levelers and long aluminum ramps

I yondered about that when she was talking. I live in Az, and know a trucking firm that runs Cat engines in their Peterbuilts. They have to get someone else to pull their trailers into Cali.

Is it true or fiction that freightliner has discontinued the 112 for 2025 and we’re no longer make it and in 2027 the M2 106 will be discontinued as well that’s what I was told by the local dealer to buy a used one I guess everything’s going EV

The culture of trucking runs on coffee and diesel. You know your day will be alright when your coffee brewed nice and strong.☕️
