I prefer stealth camping years ago but that was because i did not know the area when traveling and bunking down for night , Really like the tent, looks rather sci-fi tent, i paint sci-fi and fantasy settings, and such a tent would look in place in such setting.

We still tent camp, I'm almost 65. We love our little 10x10.... but about froze to death last oct on Lake Erie! We are Texas Trash and not used to that kind of bitter cold wind! I love watching your channel! It's makes me so happy!

I miss living on my secluded 5 acres. I'm hoping to find my new place in the next couple years. Thinking of moving to another state, with acreage of course. My fondest memories at my country home was coming home from work, turn off my car and walk straight into the woodshed and start chopping wood for my wood stove, even in my skirt and high heels. I didn't care, it was a great way to unwind and get physical! I love camping too and getting creative with nature to build or make what I need. Your videos give me so much inspiration! I'm a 67y.o. woman and still want to live off the land. I make my creature comforts simple and am happy in nature. ❤

We can do it. Make it simple though. Let's get rid of things we don't need. I've decided to buy overalls for gardening and get rid of all other clothes. It's so much easier and less clothes to store. All other clothes or items can be donated to shelters.

I love this set up, and that you were able to pull the whole thing off with only the help of Moose (and I could tell, he really thought he was helping!) Brooke, you inspired me to buy a gathering tent, as well. I looked into wall tents, but then decided to start with a more portable, cheaper pop-up gazebo. I learned how to put it up in my backyard, yet can use it at the lake to keep the bugs out. Thank you for totally inspiring me!

That tent stove is the same as mine. I have a tipi tent and a hammock tent, both i put in stove jacks, I will confirm, that little wood stove will warm you out. No BS, they crank some heat in a small place. I have to stoke it often, but i found solutions, Rural King sells briquets that are like particle wood. At your bed time in the tent, toss two in the stove as you stoke your fire for the night, it will get you through to morning when you wake up, warmth wise and keep it burning coals, to build your breakfast stove fire, about 7 hours heat off the bricks. I only sleep 6 a night, im sure most adulta are this way too. But that was my biggest aspect, how to get a small wood stove to keep me warm in my tipi at 5 am, wont need to wake up and stoke the fire. I learned what to do and I live in my tent like its a hotel. lol

I have a canvas wagon tent I put in my bed of my truck. I have a cot,and I put all my supplies under the cot. I have a porta pottie I use ,very simple set up. And I camp by my self. Love ur tent Brooke!

Very cool, Brooke! ❤ My favorite way to camp is in the Havasupai Indian Reservation sleeping in a hammock hung between the trees alongside Havasu Creek. But, then again, there is something so incredibly comforting and cozy about tent camping in the White Mountains after a nice hike-in with the smell of pine 🌲 and campfire 🔥surrounding me. I guess it’s a toss-up. ❤😊

I live in a rainforest where it rains all the time. I love this tent but the tarp isn't very wide for our amount of rain, so I too tarp my canvas to keep it white n dry. Nice n easy!
