Those are nicer mitres than in most people’s homes! Finish Carpentry in the woods, bravo. Loving this series so far. Feels like prequel movies from what we already know 👍🏼

Really enjoying this series. Thought I’d share some advice from friends with similar experience. They bought about the same size of land for private camping and horses. (Though this isn’t real time so it’s maybe not as helpful) - the recommendation is looking for a used subcompact tractor. With a front loader, and rear excavator, you can do most of the land work easily. Add a box blade and you can grade roads/paths/building sites. It ended up being a life hack for them. The cost of the tractor was offset by not having to rent equipment for projects, and made projects easier/faster because it got rid of the logistics around projects. (Renting/trailering/days off to get as much work done as possible) Now they can head out a do a little bit of work whenever. And when camping, it’s nothing to hop on the tractor to support whatever work needs to be done. With a PTO, you should be able to rent attachments like augers when needed. It helps cut down on wear and tear of their trucks, and at the end of the day, they can sell it and get their money back.

I own a 6 mitre bell tent! It would be amazing on that deck. No pressure but I’m expecting one sexy glancing tent set up there.

How many takes did Chris do trying to slide the level? Also, as someone who spent way too long just blowing on a fire with my face, discovering the pocket bellows was one of the greatest things for me! It is such a good tool, and now I don’t have to worry about getting lightheaded and passing out into the fire!
