Laughed out loud when you said "not that snow" and panned the camera over to your dog. The expression on her face was priceless.

Vanilla is my favorite ice cream! When I was a kid us kids would turn the crank on the ice cream maker while my dad caught a mess of catfish with his hands. Then he would fry up the cats, and we had fresh ice cream for dessert. Sometimes we would mix fresh strawberries in the ice cream. Yum!

Girl in the Woods, I may have gotten a bit carried away, but I got a bit of mental inertia going one I started and had to try some different things. For flavor, I found that banana pudding mix, butterscotch pudding mix, and drink crystals or JELLO crystals all work. So does cookie dough added to vanilla, and instant coffee added to vanilla. Strawberry preserves worked, but tasted better added to vanilla compared to on their own, so I'm guessing any berry or fruit preserves would also work. But the ultimate is adding Bailey's + Khalua to vanilla...absolute bliss! I had the best luck starting by really whipping the eggs first, then adding the can of milk, then sugar, then flavor and getting that as smooth and blended first as you can. Adding the snow to the mix seems to work better than adding the mix to the snow. This was such a fun, yummy thing to make outdoors!
