Really nice and relaxing voice over, I like all the details, I myself am from Quebec, Canada. I fish snow crab for about a month and then start Lobster fishing at Anticosti Island for about 11 weeks!

Great video! I fished out of Kasilof River on the K22 with captain Bob Wolfe back in the early 90's. Your video really brings me back to some of the richest memories of my young life....thank you

See she was still fishing as of last year - no registration yet for this year. Some guy out of CA was the last listed owner. Nice video of the drift fishery. I fished the red crab in Kodiak and the Bering Sea during the 70's and tendered salmon for Seward Fish out of Homer. Crazy business, Glad I had my engineering education to fall back on when fishing fell apart.

Thanks for the comment. I bought Her from a neighbor and my sons and I ran Her until they all left for college. It was a great family business and gave them a good kick start on savings and allowed them to get their college degrees without taking out student loans. I miss her, but without my trusted crew I just couldn't do it myself. Selling her was hard to do, but it gave someone else the chance to "Live the Dream." I am also an engineer and thankful to have a lot of work.

Is your fish hold refridgerated? Thanks for sharing the video, very cool to see.

Thanks for your comment. My fish hold was not refrigerated. I would load on 3-4 of the 6 Brailer Bags with ice, and after we threw the fish in the hold we would bury them in ice. We were only out for a 12 hour period, and the internal temp of the fish would be less than 40 F by the time we got back to the dock. My son fished out in Bristol Bay and most of the boats out there use the refer system.
