Looks very promising. Just needs some graphical tweaks, work on the trucks interior, the fact you can drive under the water without consequences and size of map. Otherwise this could be a great release especially on console

This looks much better that what is currently available and the issues your discussed are things that can be fixed overtime. I will wait for PS5 version, which I hope doesn't take long to be released. Thanks for the demo. It was great!

Honestly, this looks better, than anything we´ve got on the consoles before. The map could be bigger, but I also spent a lot of hours on the small Truck Driver map (when the game worked). When it comes to graphics and performance I´d rather have a stable frame rate, than reshade levels with locked 30, or lower. Looking forward to play this. Thanks, Jason for the news and preview.

Crossed fingers your truck feels like it has its own character like your motorbikes did in Days Gone, if this runs ok on my steam deck I will defo get it

Knowing the size of the dev team, I'm pretty impressed, and I like the direction they've taken. It hits the spot in places ETS/ATS don't, and really shows as its own thing. It has a real charm to it, and I like the survival and truck maintenance aspects. My only major concern is the size of the map, could get a bit old very quickly. Would be a shame if something like that squanders what is a really great concept.

I thought the same looked very interesting I would definitely buy it but my only concern is like you said is the map size and the lack of roads also how the game graphicly will preform on consoles its nice it will be on next gen only but still will it perform OK hopefully the developers improve it by listening to your self Jason and make it game it should be 👍

The map we see in this demo is the same map we saw in the last trailer they released , I asked the question in the discord of this was the actual map size , and they replied that this is not the finished map size 👍 great video fella , really looking forward to this 🤞

Like most we hope goes well as a port to console. It definitely would be nice to have a good road trucking game. Maybe the snow runner guys can make a road trucking game 🤞

This promises to be a great title, but one thing that irritates me is the appearance of the vehicles. They are strange... Let's hope that after the premiere the creators will add new trucks. Of course, COE vehicles must also appear. I'm optimistic and I'm waiting for the title to appear on consoles as soon as possible.

i like the idea but not sure if there is enough actual trucking game play to keep it interesting if this is the full map, but if it works ok its still a good thing for consoles though

A very fair and considered summary, excellent concerns raised that will hopefully be answered positively. PS5 version for me as I’m on ATS and ETS2 on a docked Steam Deck already, does the job remarkably well. Not a ‘day one’ for me, but that’s probably due to the previous console trucking misfires we’ve had, as opposed to what I’ve seen here. All goes well and it’ll be a pickup shortly after release. Thanks, Jason. 👍

The survival aspect of it is what attracts me the most and makes this game a unique must buy in spite of its potential shortcomings.

I completely agree with you about the map. I think the attraction of ETS and ATS is the vast drives, maybe taking days to get the delivery completed. Even on Snowrunner going across multiple maps there is and can be a long drive ahead. I think I am going to wait until this has been released, but my fear is there will not be enough longevity and variety in the game. Despite all the new features. I just want to drive a beautiful truck across a beautiful map (multiplayer would be a bonus) but with simply fuel stops and sleep cycles. I’m on console and although I am excited to see this game, seeing the map I’m already slightly disappointed.

The Q is. Can consoles handle a bigger map? They may of tried and don't work so good. I know I put extra map mods on ETS2 and ATS, and my laptop starts stuttering. Looks like a good game though!

Hope the console release is upto scratch and they don't have to tone anything down too much. I agree with the road situation, but it all depends how long it takes to go up each road also? If you can get to el1 end of the map to the other in 10 mins then will get very repetitive very quickly. That 'one way in and out' you mention in the video is quite true to life. I believe its called the Dalton highway (as seen in ice road truckers) so will be interesting to see if they have put any of the landmarks of that road in place. Are you currently in talks with the developers to try and get a ps / xbox tester code?

I liked your stream and I'm going to buy this game to ps5. I remember when you played the other demo too when you fixed a bridge. I actually thought it was snow then because your character froze. But my memory maybe isn't soo good. I like the cooking and eating aspect and I really liked the big raindrops on the windows. I like that they had added mud and rocks under the lake. I also like to get out of the truck and do different things "manually" on the truck. I will play with a controller. I can hardly wait til it releases. Thank you Jason for all the lovely streams and chats. I'm not always being able to chat in your streams but I'm lurking or watching them afterwards. Take care and have a lovely day. (^_^=)

So is it called Alaskan road truckers or American road truckers? lol. To be honest I played the demo a while ago and really enjoyed the immersion On my pc the graphics were ok but I really am running a 970gtx Nvidia card. so I cant comment on the higher end of the graphics scale. Although I do believe as pleasing good graphics are it is the immersion that will keep you playing. If the team are able to eventually expand the map then the start size does not really matter. what I really hope for on console at least, is a smooth launch and hopefully console players will have a mostly decent trucking game to enjoy. I am actually torn between using my wheel on pc or just to buy it on ps5 to see how it holds up. Either way i really hope this title can bring something new and interesting to the trucking Genre.

they should include you coming from your depot to your drop off point where they dont have enough people to offload you, so they try to screw you into offloading for them, so you say no fucking way and sit in the cab smoking and chilling on your phone or taking a nap while they work it out because either way you're getting paid. Oh the fun moments when I used to work as a drivers mate on big trucks.

why does no one ever cover sound? If you're going to be driving a vehicle for hours on end it can't have bad sound or obvious sound loops yet sim racing reviews, truck game reviews, everything just seems to skip right over sound

Fernbus had a large open world map to travel on but it's just driving with no actual business to run. I would rather play this.

I had a fair amount of hope for this but it looks like another shitty attempt at a truck sim. The way the map looks is a dead giveaway the devs don't have a clue how to design a driving game, never have long roads with dead ends. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's going to be pretty rough.

It clearly is a indie game from the looks of it. It won't be replacing ATS or ETS2 for me but I am a PC player so I don't have the restrictions of being stuck on a console. Personally the graphics are below par for a current gen game and that's where we can tell it's done by an indie dev team. The only draw to it is the driving on ice & snow but after seeing the clips you showed that looks like it's failing to deliver on what is the standard, no tire tracks? 10 year old games like GTA V do that so there's no excuse to not have it in a new game for the latest generation of consoles. To end. Looks OK but nowhere near what SCS have done with their truck sims. For a console game I guess it's good, for a PC game it's not.
