The title "Suus", means be quite, silence and the text : "Ler me te qaj" it means let me cry. So it is: be quite and let me cry It was a song dedicated to an accident with a bus when different childrens die at the accident. Rona is one of the best vocal voice that i have hear on Eurovision context and in any music show i have ever seen.

Suus do te thot ,Përsonale, dhe ju kushtohet jetes së saj që e ka kaluar gjat luftes në Kosov kur i humb gjitha shpresat e jetes . Dhe në këngen e saj ajo thot më lerni të qaj se ket gjë më se miri di ta bëj tani . Dhe nuk ka të bëj me Aksidentin e Autobusit qe humben jeten disa persona . This was her performance on the final. Her performance in the semi final was very emotional. There was a bus accident in albania the day she performed in the semifinaland there were 13 students who passed away. She stated crying at the end of the song. Also after the song she said: "per shpirtrat e tyre, faleminderit. Thank you" which means, for their souls ( students that died) thank you. Albanian broadcaster did not transmitted the show that night and she still managed to end up second in the semi.

I think this dramatic song was inspired by a school bus accident that happened in Albania that year in which many kids died. Amazing vocals. Rona Nishliu is a jazz singer from Kosovo. I've just subscribed to your channel as I like this idea of discovering old Eurovision gems. My suggestion? France 2009 (Patricia Kaas). Thank you.

Not actualy,the acident was in the day of semifinal,and Rona sing this song craying.Suus name is actualy craying,in albanian is Qaj,Rona is albanian from Kosovo and she was protestin and craying for the victime of Kosovo war,she is born in Mitrovica.

@@arikasa4713 exactly what you said. The accident happened either on the day of the semi-final or maybe the day before. Either way her performance and the song itself just got an even more powerful meaning. I can even remember the local TV in Albania didn't broadcast the festival since that day was considered a day of mourning.

5 th place but the song is about her pain about her familiar dying in the plain air crash and she is just saying “let me cry bcs this is the best i can do ,cry “ and now guys the pain in her voice cames out from her high notes .even most of albanian people disnt understand her choice to bring this song ,but know when we think about eurovision cannot think about this masterpiece and for this reason we always try to bring the best singer we have ,bcs suus bringed another level

@@stufr.reacts I should add something about the refrain. She wants to cry and she's asking if she can cry. So is not exactly "Let me Cry... Cry... Cry..." but more likely "Allow me to Cry... Cry... Cry..." but ofc that's not big deal for how long you can understand message of this great song. Definitely all Albanians are proud of Rona. She is our queen 🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱

2012 was a really tough year. She ended up 5th which is Albania's best ranking to date. I think in an avarage competition she could have been 2nd or 3rd. However I have to say Albania has always tons of biases against them which is really sad. She definitely has the biggest vocals in Eurovision history to date and no one has even come close.
