I always respected the friendship between these two. A Muslim and a Jew from two opposite sides of the world embracing one another in friendship blinded from any cultural or religious differences. We can all learn from these two men. God bless them both and what they do in showing us there is still hope in this screwed up world.

Thank you for this. I'm not jewish myself but I lived much of my life in the US and have very close jewish friends - they are very much against Israel's politics. One jewish man I knew was in Gaza during the 2nd intifada and went in ambulances with Palestinians to keep the Israeli soldiers from shooting at them. And Jon Stewart reports more sympathetically about Palestine than anyone else on American tv. It is not about ethnicity, it's about knowledge, and what your parents tell you growing up.

Mohamed Omar Sorry but that's not true. During May, June, and July, the northern hemisphere is exposed to more direct sunlight because the hemisphere faces the sun. The same is true of the southern hemisphere in November, December, and January. It is the tilt of the Earth that causes the Sun to be higher in the sky during the summer months which increases the solar flux. However, due to seasonal lag, June, July, and August are the hottest months in the northern hemisphere and December, January, and February are the hottest months in the southern hemisphere.

As sweet as that is, political leaders should have some kind of political experience, not just be some popular person with ideas that sound good to people who ALSO don’t know how any of this works. You are right there are people who arent racist but most of the people who follow the media who talk about arab are racist bec arab are portrayed as terrorists and also they talk about freedom and accepting others when they cant accept the fact that isis doesn't represent islam bec if they were muslim they wouldnt ve burned mosques and accused other muslims of not being real muslim

+Marmar Maklad Have to disagree with you. American's are a bit naive compared to the rest of the world ( I think it has something to do with the geographic and psychological separation, with two massive oceans on either side.) Some of my closest friends and co-workers are from everywhere on earth and I think its wonderful. Russians, Japanese, Iranian's, Afghani's who have come here... American's are an amazingly open minded group of people if you play by some very basic and easy rules. It just doesn't translate with global politics and noisy fringe groups grabbing all the media attention...Jon is more the norm than the exception.
