I heard this on RC’s radio show when they first released it. This is a very good speech. Mr Mohler was right on point and his words only grow more relevant. I ordered a copy on cassette tape and had listened to it many times.

I understand this completely and thus the very reason I don't want to open my door it's like the steps outside the door lead to a cliff that the bottom can not be seen. That cliff is the world. Due to my own self weakness I would rather not walk out the door as opposed to falling into the world.

Remember that we are being enlightened by God. Revelation brings change in understanding. If you think you have arrived in complete understanding. Phil.3 Not that I have already grasped it all or have already become perfect, but I press on if I may also take hold of that for which I was even taken hold of by Christ Jesus. So let's not say that Mohler is intellectually "mature"

Until I was baptized in the Holy Spirit a couple years ago I would have agreed with you. I thought I had saving faith but I was wrong. You can't read the bible without realizing there is an elect.

Ligonier ministries preach the Word of God through their preachers, not self aggrandizing… Preachers speak the Word, not their words.. How worthless our words.! But God has promised that His Word will not return unto Him void. but He uses us weak, humble humans to put forth His Word. A peculiar person… 😌
