In 2016, Dr. Mohler said that l, "if I were to support, much less endorse, Donald Trump for president, I would have to go back and apologize to former President Bill Clinton". Dr. Mohler, I acknowledge your prerogative to vote for Donald Trump, but in order to maintain my respect, I shall await your apology to President Clinton. Please be a man of your word.

Unfortunately, he is not. He's just one more in a long line of wolves in sheep's clothing - men who long ago abandoned the Gospel to instead worship at the altar of conservative politics. As a kid growing up in little rural Baptist churches in the Bible Belt, I saw a constant fixation on the book of Revelations - the end times. I've always felt like a lot of that was because people WANTED it to come so that they didn't have to face their own death. That if all these things came to pass, maybe they'd just get raptured up and never have to die. In any case, another element of that fixation centered on all the people who would "fall away." And Baptists had it in their minds that they would be the ones who held fast to their convictions, to Biblical "truths," while the more liberal people "fell away." How sad to now see that it's those very same Baptists who've abandoned what they once claimed to believe in exchange for a false sense of protection from a Republican Party that no longer even exists. Because, make no mistake, this has nothing to do with abortion. I'm as pro-life as you can get, but abortion was introduced by a Republican SCOTUS, and the GOPs false promises of doing anything about it are just that - false promises. What this really comes down to is Christians retaining some false sense of protection from imaginary threats they perceived during the Obama years. And they're willing to do that at the expense of everything else. They've willingly turned to an orange snake oil salesman and are lined up to get a bottle of his healing water.

@@jaredputnam3495 How do you figure Republican’s efforts regarding abortion are false promises? GOP controlled states across the country are creating pro life laws which get struck down by the courts. TN created the heartbeat bill which banned abortion after a beat is detected. It was then crushed by a judge. When these states take these cases to the Supreme Court we need it to be conservative justices; all but Roberts have said things that would cause us to believe they oppose Roe v Wade as a precedent. Even if you think abortion will never be totally banned you have to acknowledge the fact that republicans across the country are working to severely restrict and limit them. That’s a great thing and I will always support those efforts.

Regarding knowing what role to fill in ministry: 1) Every Christian is called to general ministry in a particular sense. That is, there's a category whereby ministry is general: it's what everyone purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ is supposed to be doing. It's fair for each individual to ask the question regarding this general ministry in particular, "What should I be doing?" For anyone, and this may be most of us, who doesn't know the answer to that question, it's perhaps a better question to ask, "What is there in front of me to do right now?" Unless it's a sin to do it, then do it. It's ministry and you are called to it. 2) There are a precious few who know that God is calling them to be a pastor or some other elder, or even a missionary, some of whom are not elders in the biblical sense. Then train for that and do it. 3) Paul instructed the Corinthians to earnestly desire the higher gifts. In context, these were the gifts of elders. Regardless of whether one of us could qualify to be an elder, the qualifications of an elder that we can achieve, as well as the gifts of an elder, are all good things to strive for. If you don't know whether God is calling you into more formal ministry, go ahead and seek the education and training you need. If you never use it in formal ministry, you will definitely use in ministry at large as long as you are a faithful disciple of Christ. Don't put it off. Seek it from your pastors and elders. Seek it from a seminary as you are able.

Lord, I pray that you provide a great provision to this organization, to enable teachers to go out into the world and teach your word through the Southern Seminary. Please protect them and populate their rolls. Sustain them Lord with a great outpouring of your provision! Please pardon their transgressions and allow them to persevere in the mission that You have given. You see all their needs, please provide, please re-commission, please re-inspire or make them adapt, but Lord let your word flourish! In Jesus' name I pray!

Hello Dr. Mohler I have a question what you have saidRegarding should churches be open I am in China , in my province right now almost all schools are open,Business are back to normal stores and restaurants are open but the church is not allowed to be open in my city. There is only one Church in my city we have no other place to get together as a congregation . if you know A little bit background of Chinese government control over the church, Then you will know the pressure Chinese churches are facing. I have not been able to participate in the service in my local church with my local Brothers and sisters since January 20th. What should we do? Our government will not allow us to get together, if we disobey, the consequences are severe. Please advise

There are two kinds of churches in China, One is called the government controlled church, the other is a famous underground church. the church I am attending right now, is a government controlled church. Our pastors are so under surveillance. I do understand their job is very hard. So I do not want to push them or urge them to go talk to the government officials. But as a congregation member maybe I truly have no choice. I also talked to other sisters, they said we should listen to our pastors. I don’t know what to do since the church I am attending is the only church I can go.

Jesus said He'd be in the grave 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS (like Jonah) ... you can't get 3 days &3 nights from Friday to Sunday! Many Westerners do not realise that there were 2 Sabbaths (a high Sabbath and the the 2nd was the normal weekly Sabbath)... Jesus was crucified in between the two. Becoming familiar with the Hebrew customs, their calendar, etc .. will open up your understanding immensely.... Aside from that, God is meticulous about being specific, and if He says something, then that is the way it is ... May you be blessed by the Almighty Yahweh (God).

Dear in Christ Jesus. If one die today where that person will go .... Heaven....Hell....Or Temporary place (Purgatory)?? It's not a choice of one where he or she desires to go...one wanna go to Hell without God's will, but one cannot go in or come out....Same for Heaven one wanna go in Heaven, but cannot go in or come out..... there no such thing in Bible as Temporary place....(Yes this earth is temporary place for us but the eternal place is Designed by Him for His Glory) It's His will and whatever pleases Him He do...He knows where one should Go, so at the right time He will send that person to the appropriate place. According to the Scripture....All humankind should go to Hell.....They are Sinner's by birth and Sinner continue to sin against God..... The wages or penalty of Sin against God is Death a Hell a separation from God here on the earth and after one dies.... eternal separation a HELL. The Sin of Human is such a grievous, dishonering, I mean to say it's an enmity with God....a Sinfull man will never want Love God or Follow God or a prideful person will never seek or know God.. A Sinful man need the Grace and Mercy of God.... a Sinful man need a calling from God....a Sinful man need the Spirit of God to worship and Glorify God...a Sinful man need Son of God- Christ Jesus. Remember God the Father send God the Son, to die on the cross, a Just dying for unjust, He came to save His people from there Sin, He came to do His Father's will, He Came to gather His own Sheep. This is the Grace of God giving His people that which is undeserving. For His people, His Sheep for whom He died on the Cross and paid the penalty of Sin and redeemed them and reconcile them to God the Father.....but imputing His righteousness in His people for His Glory. They are the one who deserve Hell, But Christ Jesus save them from eternal Hell and gave them the right to enter into His Kingdom. 1Cor 1:30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 1Cor 15:1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sinsaccording to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third dayaccording to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. One wanna go to Hell but cannot go to hell you see....and one wanna go in heaven but cannot go in Heaven... hope you got it. It's not what man desires It's all about His will be done for His Glory...In Christ Jesus

Servant of Christ Paul says that to be apart from our body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:6), but we also know that this is only temporary. God’s ultimate purpose is for all of us to be resurrected, physically, in our own bodies, which will occur when Christ returns. One of the major themes throughout the NT is that we have been united to Jesus in both his death AND resurrection. Christ dies upon the cross for us and in our place, and, therefore, our sin dies with him. But he didn’t stay dead. In the same way as we are united to him in death, his bodily resurrection means that we too will be raised from the dead, and the whole earth will be renewed as well. “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” -1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:20-26‬. Paul says much more about our future resurrection later in 1 Cor. 15. So, to answer your question, for those who have trusted in Christ, as soon as we die we will be in the presence of the Lord. But when Christ returns, our bodies will be raised from the dead and made perfect, and we will live forever on the earth, but then there will be no sin or evil or death.

Dr. Mohler, don’t you think that the government shutdown of the church is a big disappointment to the Christian faith and its followers? Not only pastors, but us followers By abdicating Our Christian responsibilities. Look at Daniel and Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego, Faith, should not ours be the same? I pray to our Lord to forgive me for caving in to our government. Daniel 3:15-18. 6:1-28 NKJ

Bottom line, sin is denying God and his authority. Putting yourself as ruler. If you deny Jesus Christ, who is God, then you have no trust or belief in Him. Which then is faithless.

A conversation between a mother and her 8-year old daughter in the near future: Daughter: Mommy? Why do the kids at school taunt me and call me "cult-girl"? Mom: Because you are an evangelical christian, which is a cult. D: What's a cult? M: It's a misplaced or excessive admiration for a person or thing. In our case, we believed that a ridiculous, sociopathic, lying, hypocritical, scuz-bucket rapist would be a good president. D: What happened? M: He turned out to be the most corrupt and disgraceful person to ever soil the history of this once-great nation. In the end, evangelical christians lost all credibility as people who are supposed to preach and live the gospel of love. We are now the deserving dregs of society. D: What do I do at school, then? M: Just know that what they say about you is true, and hang your head in shame.
