The reason why chief is so good at what he does is because he has a unique trait which is actually canon, it's luck. He literally has luck and Halsey even experimented with it when she used a coin and made him guess heads or tails and he kept guessing the correct one. Luck is even represented in the games in some sense, we find weapons quite often and most of the time it's weapons that we need for certain situations.

The only reason Chris was able to grapple with him at all was because Wesker let him do so.

Chief is far beyond human, he fought the forerunner God, twice. He fought a mutated version of the precursors who created all life. He fights aliens and machines on a daily basis and doesn't struggle at all. He dodges light speed blasts and punched a literal missile. Wesker can dodge bullets and move faster that the eye can see and tanked a rocket to the face. Neither are even human at this point

@edward martin without cheifs suit maybe, with it all of his stats are increased 10fold so I would give this to chief. Also, wesker has been hit by bullets before, and although his armor is bulletproof, chief's guns have armor piercing rounds. He fought an endless in Halo Infinite who was immune to the effects of Halo and was dodging all of chiefs shots when they first encountered each other, so chief has some experience with super fast people and killing them

I was thinking about how Wesker could teleport but something that's always overlooked is that Spartans have pretty OP reaction times, and I believe it is mentioned that's it's so strong to the point where it feels like time has slightly slowed down for them. So while a normal human, or hell even a peak human in their prime, wouldn't be able to keep up with Wesker (ex. Chris and Jill, who are very well trained and not too far out of their prime) a Spartan definitely could. In fact, I would say that if it weren't for teleportation of small distances, Chief and Wesker are roughly just as fast, especially if u take into account lore accurate chief, who punched a Banshee out of the air, in what was not only a feat of pure strength, but very quick reaction time. Power? Definitely Chief. Wesker is extremely strong of course, as he's been seen to easily send someone across a room with a single palm strike, but Chief? I'm sure any Spartan, let alone a Spartan 2, can punch the head off of a Brute, which have much more durability than a human. And also, if my memory serves me right, I'm fairly sure that the Mjolnir armor not only provides protection, but in fact enhances a Spartan's abilities by a significant amount, making them that much stronger. I believe IQ would go to Chief, but only if u count Cortana, who is one of if not the best AI that humanity has to offer. All in all, it's just my humble take, and I love both characters for who they are. I'd love to compare and discuss if anyone has an opinion or if I was incorrect on anything I'm willing to listen.

Wesker doesn't teleport. He just moves so fast he appears to disappear and reappear. He's way faster than Chief, and while Chief _may_ be able to react to him a few times, Wesker can definitely react to Chief. And even with the armor, Master Chief's strength advantage is not much. He can flip 10,000 pound vehicles over, but Wesker easily picks up those Tomahawk-like missiles with one hand, and they weigh around two tons each. And he's much stronger than Chris, who (ridiculously) can move boulders weighing anywhere from ten tons to sixty tons. And his striking strength is far more. Plus he jumps like a locust, can withstand point blank rockets and regenerates. I believe Chief would win, he's got too much tech and firepower at his disposal. But it's not going to be with massive stomp like some people think.

@@melissazietz1241 Oh of course not, and I appreciate your input. Safe to say, the Chief is definitely not getting out of this fight unscathed. If, however, it is lore accurate Chief, whom we both (I suppose) know has undeniably monstrous feats, even for a Spartan, then he's definitely winning. Of course again, not without a couple of wounds, but I believe he'd fare much better then if we were to assume that we're pitting game Chief against Wesker. Both are great warriors though for sure
