Hey Manish, this is very helpful and detailed. Thanks for creating this video. I have a few questions from a timeline perspective and it would be great to have your inputs. Assuming someone has a job offer, do you think the below timeline is realistic until you finally get your PR? 1) Day 1 - Complete an EOI application 2) Day 2 - Receive an NOI 3) Day 10 - Collect and submit the documents needed 4) Day 70 - Hear back from Alberta about your nomination (2 months after you submit your docs) 5) Day 71 - Update your Express Entry profile with the nomination 6) Day X - Wait for your documents to be accepted by IRCC and get your PR?

Hi Ana.. please do subscribe.. after PNP nomination.. you have to wait to get ITA which can take up to 2 weeks (based on IRCC draws) and then after you get ITA, submit all documents, pay the fees and get Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), you can get PR within maximum 6 months.

Hi Manish! Great video and thanks for the info. I have a question that right now I’m working in Ontario as a SDE from past 6-8 months and my company is okay if I move to Alberta as they do have the business buildings in alberta as well. But the problem is they are not able to regenerate my offer letter with the main office as Alberta office, however they can give me some other letter which says that my main office would be Alberta other than job offer letter. Do you think I should consider Alberta accelerated tech pathway as I do not have any other easy PR pathway. What’s your thought?

As long as the letter they give you satisfies Job offer requirements, you should be OK. Also, there has been some changes to Employer qualifications, so please do note that too

I'm currently employed by one of the top telecom company in North America, however they doesn't support the OINP employer form. Do I need to procure any specific documentation, similar to OINP employer form or something like that, from my employer? Hi Manish, thanks for the video, I have quite a couple of doubts - I am outside Canada presently, so after getting the nomination, do I need to apply for a work permit and move to Alberta or I can just stay until I get the PR, and travel once I have it? Does it depens on CRS score? Like if someone has more score he/she is gets it faster, like express entry entry draws?

1. You can move after getting PR too. Its upto you. But you will HAVE TO MOVE TO ALBERTA after getting PR. Yes, higher CRS score people can expect a faster processing. Its not a rule but quite logical in my opinion. This is not first come first served

Hi, I have a one question regarding to this, my profile perfectly suit for the Alberta tech path the thing is right now I am doing 2 jobs one is in onsite in (Quebec) and second one is in Alberta (Remote). (1) Can I continue my job which is in Quebec Province normally when it comes to regular Express Entry Invitation for PR purpose immigration doesn't allow to do that....but in the case of Alberta they will allow me to continue my job or I need to left that one...?? (2) In the processing period of my file, shall I allow to do 2 fulltime job because my friend's told me you can't do that. is it true...?? Just because of this queries, I didn't submit my application yet for AINP.

1. Unique case.. But my opinion is that if you get nominated under AINP you will have to live and work in Alberta. Will your QC employer be OK with that? So more that government allowing, you will have to check if your employer will allow. 2. Does your legal status allows 2 jobs? You should ideally have experience in the NOC of your current and future NOC.. it may not be absolutely required but does help with avoiding questions in future.. plus if you look at it from their point of view, if you don't have any experience in your future Job NOC then how do you justify that?

For tech pathway? I don't recollect they asking for proof of residency. They will ask you evidence that you will live and work in AB and you can use whatever document you have for this purpose.

Hi Paras.. by current trend it looks like they are taking 2-3 weeks for responding to NOI.. So you may hear some good news soon.. your case is not related to a draw.. draw is done to issue NOI which you already have... next steps, make sure your PCC and POF are ready

For tech pathway itself you don’t need PCC. Once you get NOI you have 60-90 days depending when you accept the NOI

Im not sure if any of these situations are true or are both real imaginative questions? In real world, you should inform IRCC and AAIP and then they will let you know the next steps. Are you asking this because you are thinking of changing jobs and changing industry? Because if I were you I would wait till PR before changing jobs

Yes, I got a job offer that is a great opportunity, economically and professionally speaking, and this new company has same NAICs and will be same NOC so probably I'll be able to apply again same pathway but just want to understand if I'll lose the nomination if I change jobs even tough is same NOC and NAICs.

There are no clear cut rules explained in the eligibility but once you change the job you can inform aaip and ircc and then see the response. Are you saying if you know that you will loose nomination, you will not take up this new offer? As I said if I was in your position I would rather wait than going through the uncertainty of what would happen. I’m sure nothing negative will happen, but it would have saved me a lot from anxiety.

Sorry for being late.. congratulations on your Nomination.. its under which stream? If under an express entry stream, now you should get 600 points and an ITA whenever the next draw will be held. Otherwise for stream like AOS and RRS, you can apply directly for PR using the PR portal

If this is the only experience you have, which means that you do not qualify as FSW, then yes, you have to wait for 1 year to qualify as CEC and then apply under ATP

So I wonder if that would make me ineligible "The following individuals are not eligible to apply for or be nominated under the Accelerated Tech Pathway, even if they are working for an eligible Alberta employer in an eligible tech occupation or have a job offer to work 30 hours a week or more in a 12-month or greater period: employees who do not work in Alberta, such as those who work online from a location outside Alberta or who work at a premises outside of Alberta"

If it specifically says it’s remote, then no. Because for a remote location job how do you prove that you will work in Alberta . I think that’s the clarification that even eligibility has given which you copied in the earlier message.

There is Alberta Express Entry General where you can expect a NOI but if by apply you means where you can initiate an application by yourself then NO, there is no such stream

I’m working as an economic data analyst in the Alberta Ministry of Health which is in the nocs in the list for the Tech pathway. I asked of the HR team of my division about the NAICS code but they didn’t know about it. Could you please let me know if I’m eligible for Alberta Tech Pathway? 1. You can apply from outside the province 2. You have to move to AB after you get your PR. There is no general rule, but if I was in your place I will not move till I get my citizenship.
