Liam McKnight ya both of the guys I was riding had bear bells, plus we had spray and a horn. There's a ton of them out right now! Not to mention cougars haha

Theo Ilic thanks! Once riding season slows down a bit, I plan on putting out some more non-riding videos like that. For now, it's all about the trails!

I really like the fact that you don't cut the mistakes off the videos, and also that even if you're a very skilled rider you have a careful approach to the trails you don't know! Great job and keep posting!

I noticed you wear your chesty under your jersey and you've made a hole for the mount to stick out... how come?? Why not wear over the top?

Have you ever been to baseline mountain in Rocky Mountain house ? If you get the chance to go just remember to bring your full body armour , dh bikes not absolutely needed but strongly recommended . They are some of the steepest trails I've ridden but lots of fun . You will need a shuttle up the mountain and there's a Facebook page called baseline mountain bike club if you want to join up with the locals .

Ya I've been meaning to get out there all year! Next season I'll make it happen for sure.

Honestly one of my favourite trails, you missed a couple of the drops on the trail so you'll have to come back and ride them. As others have said, you have to give Razors Edge a go if you want more slab and sharp rocks!
@TheLoamRanger7 жыл бұрын
Ya I"ll have to check those out! There was one I just went around because the landing was loose and sends you into a tree! There were patches of bark ripped off from all the other people who couldn't make the turn after landing and I didn't feel like adding my face print to the collection haha. I definitely want to ride to Razors Edge this season.

That's AWSOME. I rode this trail myself earlier this week. It's in Exshaw Alberta. It's pretty close to Calgary. Just east of Canmore. I totally missed that pump track. I found this trail using Trail Forks. It's pretty narrow, steep and rugged in parts. Tough climb up too! Great vid!

I absolutely love your videos. But I need help persuading my mum that trail bikes are necessary for riding in rough terrain. She keeps saying its totally unneeded as if she watched all these videos about it. I ride bmx at the moment as I used to dig up jumps with friends but recently after being able to us my friends enduro MTB I fell in love with trail riding.
@TheLoamRanger7 жыл бұрын
Wizard FPV that's awesome to hear you want to get into mountain biking! Getting a new/used bike is a solid investment so I can understand why she might be hesitant. I'd say find a decent used bike that could work for what you want to do, sell the BMX (if you won't be using that much after getting the mtb) and see about raising the rest of the funds through working or begging your mom haha. Best of luck!

This one is just outside of Canmore Alberta. If you follow my Strava account, I post all these rides on there too. Otherwise, just search for "Prospector" on Trailforks.com and you should see it pop up in Exshaw or Canmore AB. Hope that helps! Strava: www.strava.com/athletes/5073767

U we're shifting a lot on the trail. What gear to u like to use heading on a trail? But on a jump coarse what gear do u use also
@TheLoamRanger7 жыл бұрын
Delta Dog oh man that's a tough question to answer! I never pay much attention to exactly which gear I'm in, I just have it in whatever gear gives me the right amount of torque I need at the time. I have a 30 tooth ring on the front, so I'm usually in one of the last three gears on faster tracks like ALine, etc.
