This cam looks like such a great image and value. I went ahead and got the toothless 2 nano for pretty much the same price, but I may need to pick one of these up to replace one of my old janky eos2 cams 😅. I feel like the runcam is just a tad better during day, but the toothless 2 definitely does better night.

Ordered couple of these cameras while back. I live up north, in summer sun is up till midnight but in autumn it goes down at afternoon. So I need a camera that can work in direct sunlight with hard shadows and low light cloudy days. Look like these ones might do the job well.

I have been using a RunCam Micro Eagle on 6" quad from when they first came out and I find it a fantstatic camera. I have just recieved a Phoenix II to replace an old RunCam Swift Rotor Riot Special Edition on one of my other quads. The Pheonix is nearly half the price of what I paid for the Micro Eagle! That's progess for you...... So far it's looking good ,I will let you when I have flown it.

is this compatible with rapidifre? also do you have any issues using rapidifre mode1 on other camera?

If you're having problems with rapidfire mode1 try switching from PAL to NTSC and vice-versa on your camera settings, sometimes it solves the problem

I tried one of these and am getting jello (not electrical noise) in the fpv feed. Is there a setting I can tweak to reduce this? Didn't have the problem with the previous camera on this build which was a Micro Swift 3.

It's not a settings problem. You have too much vibration on the quad from the props/motors. You need to isolate this vibration from the camera for the jello to go away.

@@AlbertKimTV So is this camera particularly sensitive to vibration? I haven't had this problem with other cameras on the same build.

@@anthonyshort8957 It's worth checking the screws that secure the camera board to the frame of the camera. If they are loose you will get jello ,this caught me out a few years back on a RunCam Swift ,wasted a lot of time trying to isolate vibration that actually was not there?

How’s it going bro good vid I had a question hopefully you can help I purchased the lumeniar edition it’s just a white colored cam instead of blue but the connector it came with doesn’t fit into the cameras slot ... is there something I can do ? Was your connector tonight to put in ?

Yes, you don't need to have an FC if you know how to wire it up properly.
