very common in the pet trade , albino animal is just more sought after and command higher price
@elissajackson51404 жыл бұрын
Why not? People breed bulldogs which have tons of health issues.

Elissa Jackson Which shouldn‘t be bread, either. What’s the purpose of it, when you produce an animal, that WILL be suffering its whole life?

Hey not to try an argrue. But i was at a daytona show one year and some people from gatorama said they were the first to hatch and have the first albino on display and there a zoo like place. But seing these two big ones on here has got me thinking that someone from gatorama might have been mistaken. But everyone is always claiming they were the first
@donkaye76244 жыл бұрын
Albino alligators were discovered in 1992. I don't know which public facility was the first to display them but it was in the mid 1990s. There has been two private facilities that have produced albinos from captive breedings. The first started producing them in 2010 and the second in 2015. The second guy worked at Gatoroma and had some of his gators on display including the albino. At the end of this video Ryan asked Christian if this was the first albino to albino breeding and he said yes. This is NOT true. At this time all albino gators from captive breeding are from albino to albino and Wild Florida knows this. Other than being the first public facility to produce albinos they are NOT the first at anything else with albinos and they know this. Don't get me wrong it was still a big deal to have accomplished it. I have a adult pair of albinos that I have had since 2010 and I have been getting eggs since 2014. Unfortunately I have not been lucky enough to hatch any yet.

why would you breed an animal with such health problems? i bet they are prone to skin cancer as well. oh well, anything to make money/
@gsdmom1194 Жыл бұрын
Just gorgeous. Do they get skin cancer? I live in a higher elevation of CO and it is common for white horses and dogs to get skin cancer on the face.... lips, eye lids and I've even seen an appaloosa gets skin cancer on the sheeth of his penis. Its more common on animal that don't have sun protection

Not cool to play with dangerous animals, animals such as alligators or other wild type animals should be ornamental at most and no I’m not a peta loser I’m pro AZA accredited facilities
