Yeah! Across Africa were albinism is more prevalent than anywhere else in the world. They are hunted, and murdered, for their body parts. Apparently it's a witchcraft ritual, like some kind of human sacrifice. Just so disgusting and primitive.

It's because albinos tend to have very poor eyesight, even the ones in here that have seemingly normal looking (not red) eyes. A friend of mine is albino and her eyes tend to shake extremely fast (she doesn't have a shaky vision though), her eyes have about 20% of normal capacity and it can't be fixed by glasses

Any race can have albinism. No one should be surprised if they're of non European descent and produce children with albinism. It's nothing to do with having a white ancestor on your mother's side of the family. Ok ??? A Native American couple can produce children with albinism.

I've noticed that in addition to Albinos often having poor vision a lot of them also have crooked eyes, I wonder what causes that?

I think it's to do with a specific type of condition which affects thier eyes. Some of them look crossed eyed.

You can have albinism and be European, African, Asian, Arab, Gypsy, Latino, Hispanic, Chicano, Jewish or Biracial. It's zero to do with race, culture, nationality, ethnicity or religion. It's just a lack of melenin.

It makes sense that Brazil would have a significant amount of albinos because Africa has the largest amount and Brazil is second largest concentration of people of African descent in the African diaspora (Africa being first of course).

I think the reason why a lot of them seem crossed eyed is because they have very poor eyesight so they tend to squint their eyes to be able to see properly.

What ? Most people of European descent don't have white hair until they reach a certain age in life. You won't see many white babies with white hair. If the community is brown, dark brown etc, Of course someone with albinism will stick out like a sore thumb.
