Idc what anyone says I don’t feel bad for him. Dude spent the last month or so grinding by marvel rivals for 12hrs straight then played scrims and shit the bed and wonders why they’re playing bad. Even his coach called him out for playing too much rivals. Their performance shows this lan and there’s a reason why he came 39th.

I was so happy for alb when he won LCQ, but when I saw the amount of time he was putting into Rivals, I became very worried. If I had the biggest tournament of my life coming up, especially one that could revitalize my competitive career, I'd be locked in. It's not like he was just playing Rivals here and there cause he found it fun either. Like you said, bro was cranking out 12 hour streams on that game. According to his stream titles he was even top 500. Bro you have a HUGE tournament coming up, lock in! Now I'm upset with myself for getting emotionally invested in bro's arc 🤣.

@@DEMEL501 Dezignful literally had a 30 day bootcamp with his team at some 100T facility. There they followed a literal training itinerary. He played triple or quadruple the amount of Apex in January than he did Marvel Rivals, and absolutely had some of the most Apex training hours in January preparing for this tournament. Although lots of the Apex training isn't streamed because he's in meetings with his team and coach learning macro and studying other teams strategy, even the ratio of his public twitch hours on apex vs MR is double. in January So why play MR at all? Bottom line is his coach encourages it. Very few players in this game are genetic freaks like Hal who are capable of playing Apex 8+ hours a day 7 days a week, without experiencing what's known as "burnout". If you're familiar with burnout you understand that it is gravely the last thing you want happening to your mental prior to a tournament. So during christmas break Dezign and Genburten took a week off apex like a vacation because they play so much Apex in the regular season, and kind of got a reset having fun in Marvel Rivals. Then came January bootcamp, and 100T grinded their fucking asses off for this tournament. The MR in the evenings were for Dezign and Gen, the best method for healthy downtime to keep them as mentally present and healthy for the next day's training.

Say what you want negatively about Abre and his team. The fact Abre has been trying for yearsssss to compete at another LAN event/tournament after being dropped from TSM is tremendously noble, humble, and the definition of "never give up, never surrender." Abre FINALLY made it happen and come true. Regardless of Stallions placement. The fact Abre and his team made this LAN event/tournament happen after everything the man has been through for almost half a decade gets my thumbs up, and congratufuckinglations. 🤜💥🤛

It’s rough but it’s only year one for the three man of alb, crook, and scuwry not to mention this is one of the most egregious metas with the amount of teams in like ring 4. Alb was the first Apex player I ever watched. Searched up "best apex Legends player" on KZbin and his video of him fragging out on Pthfinder in the third persob mide popped up first. Very sad to see his downfall. He's still one of the best players technically.

I really dont feel bad for him. Least he made it back to a LAN, I didnt think he ever would lol. Alb also has a big enough following on twitch and pulls in viewers with Rivals so it makes sense to go where the viewers/money is at. These other pros wont have that luxury to sustain themselves once their org checks stop and ALGS is through.

i feel the only reason hes still in apex is because thats where he most known and just keeps coming back to build viewership then go else where, played apex left to val failed, came back tried becoming a vtuber failed, rivals comes out played that constantly, that could still pay off but he cant flip flop between apex and rivals and expect to succeed in either

I think if there were no controllers with aim assist in the game it would still be one of the best. He was a pioneer with the Pathfinder. He played the finals with fever and won with TSM. Of course he made mistakes but he has matured and I think you have to give him respect. Fu all haters

Seeing a lot of people shitting on Alb for doing the cardinal sin that is play a game to get his stream out there. He’s not the first, wasn’t the only one and is not gonna be the last player to not play the game before lan. A lot of pros have skipped scrims,refused to play ranked and not vod review and still absolutely do a good job at lan. Before lan apex had poor viewership and Rivals viewership was extremely high so you can’t really blame him for wanting to get the viewership on a new game. I don’t subscribe to the annoying sentiment that apex is dead after this lan but at the same time i can’t blame any pro for trying to branch out before the gravy train stops.

@ I must be one of the very few who don't bash/hate apex and nor i think game is as bad as people making it out to be. Support meta meh, some good parts some bad and goes for every single meta past and future. People are just burnt out because they have no alternative game and so they no life apex and get burn out and that turns to hate, obviously apex got problems and alot but so does most games that have been running for 6 years. As for ALGS i think wigg and greek already know where next one takes place so year 6 is pretty much confirmed.
