For a season that was supposed to be a transition year, SNL is unexpectedly killing it. Great new cast members and solid writing all season. And the hosts have been on point too. The Woody Harrelson episode was a little weak (but still had some funny sketches). Most episodes have been really funny, and hosts like Jenna Ortega, Quinta Brunson, PedroPascal, and Ana De Armas have all pretty much crushed it.

I watched the whole time that guys like Mike Myers and David Spade and Adam Sandler and Dana Carvey and Chris Rock and Chris Farley and Kevin Nealon and the like. I was also there for the Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Norm Macdonald and the like. I was also there when it was Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey and Adam Sandberg and the like. Was also a big fan of when it was Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader and the like. I also absolutely love the show now. What I don't understand is the point you're trying to make. Should look at the period between 2005 and 2015 but yet you're referring to the 80's and 90's. Are you okay?

Dear friend, see the quality of casts of generations and as a result the level of the entire SNL program as a spectrum. It's okay to have different tastes, and I can understand the interest in the current cast, which most likely stems from your political views. In the past, the quality of the comedian and his personal skill in performing was the determining factor for his employment. But look at the actors now; There must be a trans person, a gay person, a woman of color, etc. in the actors, whether they are experienced comedians or not

I just really think the cast is really funny and they stopped having as many political sketches and they've had a lot more sketches of just silliness like a woman who shakes the table when she tosses her salad LOL. You're the person that goes around assigning politics to everything. I mean how do you determine what is a good show or movie? If you're not basing your conclusion of whether tbr move is good or bad based on just how good or bad it is then I think you've lost sight of entertainment. Ana is one of the best actors I’ve ever seen at delivering sexy and/or over the top comedic dialogue. She absolutely killed it here- and what is even more impressive is that she’s originally from a foreign hispanic culture where this kind of humor wouldn’t register- but her range is so great that she pulls it off effortlessly.
