I'm not the biggest metal fan yet I subscribed because I find Mr. The Metal Meltdown interesting to watch. Likewise I don't watch movies often yet I watch Grace BTT weekly because I find her endearing. It's been fun to watch this channel (especially the topical commentary vids) this year and see the vid with your wife. In my annual Top 20 Best Of Year list the closest metal came was Unresponsive by Ken Mode last year. If I had done a Top 25 it would have made it. Rock music was my second favorite genre yet this year only rock song in my Top 20 is Dark Thoughts by Funeral Portrait. Anyway I keep watching and keep my eyes on this channel to see what new stuff I may be missing. I hope you and your family have a great new year ahead.

From Dimmu there’s a 3 album span that’s awesome, starting at Spiritual Black Dimensions, followed by Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia (the best one in my opinion) and capped off by Death Cult Armageddon. As for new releases, if the rumors about a new Gorguts release are true then that’s gotta be the one, but if not then either Testament, Black Dahlia Murder or Deicide(the last single was pretty good).

I honestly think this has been one of the better December's in recent memory for releases. I thought we'd finished with major AOTY contenders after a year chocked full of them, but I was wrong. You certainly missed some of the best, Melty. I'd go check out Varathron, Troll, Vargrav and Crust too. Especially that new Varathron. Had that been released before December I'd say we'd see that on more year end lists. And honestly I've seen it sneak on a few people's lists regardless.

Yay, love that Jarhead Fertilizer album! Speaking of gnarly grindcore, there is a new album from Knoll dropping on January 24th I’m really looking forward to! Besides that, I’m looking forward to hearing new albums from Green Day, Saxon, Exocrine and Hiraes this January. Cheers!

My two most anticipated releases for 2024 are Judas Priest and High on Fire. We've heard two great singles from the Priest album, hoping the rest is just as good. High on Fire finished recording their first album with their new drummer, scheduled for early 2024 release. Can't wait!

The new Rhûn is one I missed this month.. I’m particularly a fan of how guitar forward it is, caught my attention immediately. The vocals are somewhat in the background, but remain understandable, and create this creepy atmospheric vibe. It’s something that caught my attention with a blind listen, and that rarely happens anymore especially as my musical taste moves away from metal.

The ritualistic Black metal band Bull of Apis Bull of Bronze recently released their sophomore record on 21 December. It will take a long time to grow on me, just like the debut from 2019 if you like ritualistic occult black metal with a clear stance against capitalism, check out Bull of Apis and Bull of Bronze. As for my most anticipated albums of 2024, I am looking forward to the new Judas Priest record, the debut album from a new Polish black metal band called Hauntologist featuring the insanely talented drummer from Mgła and the brand new record from the Belgian American black metal band Hulder. The single for that last album is awesome!

@@themetalmeltdownofficial no problem! There is also a band with a similar style called Returning with a more doom metal underbelly who released an album back in February.

Most anticipated albums for 2024... - Hoping for a new Biohazard release after the reunion; - Pro-Pain, while touring extensively, hasn't released anything new since 2015. It's about time now; - Body Count's Merciless should've been here right now, I'm getting impatient; - Although I've never paid too much attention to Slayer aside from the classic cuts I'm curious about what Kerry King is gonna do with his new project...

Your opinion on orbit culture album is kinda similar to my thoughts on blut aus nord disharmonium Undreamble Abysses album were people were all like it's one the most horrifing albums in 2022 were me being really board while listening to that album me being like guys grow up already it's really isn't that scary where it's just repeating the same noise over and over, lol I really dig that orbit culture album so stop whining you like a child, lol I love you though and your videos to.

Its on Bandcamp & Colin Marston own KZbin Channel... My guess would be Krallice doesn't care for the way Spotify does business with Artist/Labels... or they want to sell a few copies before they upload it

I really need to stop watching reviews from younger people. I really don’t understand where most of you are coming from. It’s like we’re listening to different music entirely. You complain that bands like Orbit Culture aren’t doing anything different then you praise bands that aren’t doing anything different. SMFH!
@themetalmeltdownofficial10 ай бұрын
Its not just that Orbit Culture aren't doing anything different, its also that they're boring and overhyped as fuck. If you wanna chalk it up to an age issue thats on you.

@@themetalmeltdownofficial yet you think King Gizzard is album of the year? To me they sound like a bad White Zombie rip off. Apparently we just have way different tastes. On the age comment, I was merely saying that seems to be a common opinion among younger listeners. Not all of course. I’ve met some younger metal heads that have taste closer to mine.
