Alcoa Highway Corridor - Woodson Drive to Cherokee Trail (Construction Progress Q1 2024)

This year, there has been clearing and blasting to make way for improvements to the corridor including increased capacity, corrected roadway deficiencies, and upgrades to lighting, signals, SmartWay traffic systems and more.
Construction is starting to ramp up this month as blasting operations will continue as well as clearing activities and rock excavation.
