I couldn't function socially without alcohol. But I've also been big on fitness as that has played a huge part in helping my social anxiety and depression. When alcohol started messing with my workouts (hungover and lifting do not go well lol) and diet started being detrimental, decided to change. Its closing in on 100 days without alcohol and life has bloody improved in every single way.

Baclofen is usually given for the physical symptoms associated with alcohol withdrawal. Oxazepam and Chlordiazepoxide medications are usually prescribed for the anxiety associated with alcohol withdrawal. For deaddiction, another group of anti-craving medications are usually prescribed.

മാഡം എന്റെ സഹോദരന് വേണ്ടി ആണ്. അദ്ദേഹം 14 വർഷം ആയി സ്ഥിരം ആയിട്ട് അല്ലെങ്കിലും ഇടയ്ക്കൊക്കെ മദ്യം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സ്ഥിരം ആയി മദ്യപിക്കാറില്ല എന്നാണ് എന്റെ അറിവ്. ചിലപ്പോൾ ആഴ്ചയിൽ ഒന്ന് രണ്ട് തവണ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ രണ്ട് ആഴ്ചയിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ അങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ. പക്ഷേ ഇടയ്ക്ക് ഒരു ദിവസം അദ്ദേഹം തലചുറ്റൽ ആയി ഓർമ്മ ഇല്ലാതെ വീണു, പെട്ടെന്ന് തന്നെ ശരിയായി, വീണ്ടും ഒരു മാസം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മദ്യപാനം ഇല്ലാതിരുന്ന സമയത്ത് തന്നെ ഓർമ്മ ഇല്ലാതെ വീണു, ശർദ്ദിയും വയർ വേദനയൊക്കെയായി, ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കൊണ്ട് പോയി അടിസ്ഥാന പരിചരണശേഷം വീട്ടിൽ വന്നു, ഉടൻ തന്നെ വീണ്ടും ശർദ്ദിയും അസ്വസ്ഥതയും ആയി ആശുപത്രിയിൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്തു, alcohol withdrawal seizure, dehydration, low BP എന്നാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. ബ്ലഡ് ടെസ്റ്റിലൊക്കെ ചികിത്സ തുടങ്ങി 5 ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷവും ആൽക്കഹോൾ കൂടുതൽ ആണ്. ആശുപത്രിയിൽ വച്ച് പല തവണ വെപ്രാളം ഒക്കെ കാണിച്ചു, ശേഷം വീട്ടിൽ വന്നിട്ടും വല്ലാത്ത അവസ്ഥയിൽ പെരുമാറി, എപ്പോഴും എല്ലാവരോടും ദേഷ്യം ആയിട്ട് ആണ് പെരുമാറ്റം, ഡോക്ടർ റെസ്റ്റ് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് പോകാൻ വയലന്റ് ആയി പെരുമാറി തുടർന്ന് ഒരു സൈക്യാട്രിക് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. EEG ചെയ്തു. ഇനി മദ്യപിക്കരുത് എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ ഒരു തരത്തിലും സമ്മതിക്കുന്നില്ല. വീഡിയോയിൽ നിന്ന് ഏറ്റവും severe condition ആണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി. എന്റെ സഹോദരനെ പൂർണമായും മദ്യപാനത്തിൽ നിന്നും അതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രശ്നങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ കഴിയുമോ?? അദ്ദേഹം ഞങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിക്കാൻ കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നില്ല. ഞങ്ങൾ ഏത് രീതിയിൽ ആണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ support ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്, ഇനി എന്ത് ചികിത്സ ആണ് പൂർണമായും ഒരു മുക്തിക്ക് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്? ഈ condition ൽ നിന്ന് റിക്കവർ ആകാൻ minimum, maximum എത്ര time വേണ്ടി വരും? Madam, എന്റെ brother നു വേണ്ടിയാണ്. അവന്റെ മദ്യപാനം കാരണം കുടുംബജീവിതം വരെ തകരുന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ. മദ്യപാനം തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് രണ്ടു വർഷമായി. ആദ്യമൊക്കെ വല്ലപ്പോഴും മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ ഇപ്പൊ മിക്ക ദിവസങ്ങളിലും രാവിലെ മുതൽ തുടങ്ങും. ആഹാരം പോലും കഴിക്കാറില്ല. അതിനു reason ഓരോന്ന് കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചു അത് വല്യ പ്രശ്നമാക്കി അതിന്റെ പേരിൽ പിന്നെ continuous use ചെയ്യും. അത് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ പിന്നെ കൈയിൽ കിട്ടുന്നതൊക്കെ എറിഞ്ഞു പൊട്ടിക്കും, നല്ല violent ആകും. അത് ഉപയോഗിക്കാതിരിക്കുമ്പോ എല്ലാരോടും വല്യ സ്നേഹമാ. മദ്യപാനം നിർത്താതെ അവൻ രക്ഷപെടില്ല, ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നിൽ ഒരു മാർഗ്ഗവുമില്ല. അവൻ അറിയാതെ medicine നൽകാനേ പറ്റുള്ളൂ. എന്തെങ്കിലും ഒരു വഴി പറഞ്ഞു തരണമേ madam, please

മാഡം ഞാൻ പണ്ട് സ്ഥിരം ആയി കഴിക്കറുള്ള ഒരാൾ ആരുന്നു ഒരു ദിവസം പോലും മുടങ്ങാതെ അതു നിർത്തി ആഴ്ചയിൽ ഒരു ദിവസം ആക്കി അങ്ങനെ ഒരു 3 വർഷം പോയി ഇപ്പോ ഒരു 2 മാസം ആയിട് ആഴ്ചയിൽ കഴിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയാൽ 7 മുതൽ 8 ദിവസം വരെ കഴിക്കാറുണ്ട് പിന്നർ ഒരു 20 ദിവസത്തേക്ക് കുടിക്കറില്ല ഇപ്പോൾ പൂരണമായും ഒഴുവക്കി പക്ഷെ ഒഴുവക്കി കുറച്ചു ദിവസത്തേക്കു ഉറക്കം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു കൈ വിറയൽ വിയർപ് അസിഡിറ്റി കൈ കാല് ഉള്ളിൽ തരിപ് വേദനകൾ ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടാരുന്നു ഒരു ആഴ്ചയിൽ അതൊക മാറി. ഇനി എനിക് ഒരു വൈദ്യ സഹായം തേടേണ്ടത്തത് ഉണ്ടോ ?
