Lovely Butterfly - Adding the extra layers really does make a difference. Quick question - What printer do you use to print on your cardstock?

Quick question. I noticed while following your course that I was getting different color swatches than what you have shown on your list, even though I was using the same numbered Ohuhu Markers that you have listed on the included Conversion Chart…So I just decided to pull up the Copic website and match your listed copic numbers to my swatches to find the closest color…. While doing so, I noticed even your copic color “dots” that are on the supply list were a little off and different compared to the Copic Websites “swatches”….So I guess my question would be, Do you know why that is? Could it be caused by any editing that was done when creating/editing the course before uploading that would have accidentally affected the colors on your list? Or is this from something else? I even tried them out on three different kinds of paper and they still were pretty similar to one another if not Identical. …So sorry I’ve just been bugging my husband about this for 3 days now until he finally just said “Message the dang Woman and ask her!” 🤣 F.Y.I. I’ve been a huge fan of yours since 2016 and been following you across all platforms ever since! I literally own ALL of your coloring books books and use them almost daily!! 🫶🏼 Keep up the great work and love your content!! 👍🏼

Wow, it's so awesome that you've been following me since 2016! 🥰 I'm really happy to hear that you enjoy my coloring books and use them almost daily!! 😍 With regards to the colors looking different on your screen vs the PDF vs real life, it can be hard to get colors to match exactly when they're scanned or photographed or filmed. Colors can look different on different monitors and devices, and colors in real life can look slightly different depending on the paper you're using, along with the lighting in the viewer's room, as well as the lighting in the room I filmed in... So many factors can change the colors, lol! 😁 I'd suggest not worrying too much about it. I just looked at the PDF colors on my computer screen and to my eye they look the same as my real-life swatches. For what it's worth, whenever I've swatched different art materials and compared my swatches to the manufacturer's online color charts, the colors always look a bit different (I've experienced that with Copic, Ohuhu, Posca and Prismacolor...) So I do know what you mean. I've learned to just roll with it and go with what the colors look like in real life. 😊 I suggest trying out the blends with the colors suggested in the course and see how you go. And definitely feel free to try out different colors, too. I saw someone colored the butterfly with yellow, orange and pink and it looked really cool! Anyway, hope this helps and sorry I can't be of more help! 😊🎨💖
