Aldi and lidl are not all bad. Pasta is pasta, rice, potatoes, onions, carrots are the same everywhere. I went to Aldi maybe a week ago, got luxury meals for £1 each at 75% off, and delicious grapes and cherry to atoes for under £1 each. Go for the sticker items 😊
@Chris-sf1dt28 күн бұрын
@AlissaSss23 actually mate different supermarkets have different grades of veg. I've worked in retail for 30yrs making sure that supermarkets comply with regulations and when tesco price match aldi and lidl you get a much better product for cheaper. For example if you want to taste a nice bonne mammon desert by the tesco own brand it's made by bonne mammon as are many of tesco cheap lines.

I can imagine the constipation and nutritional deficiencies as I watch this lol. Where's the veg, fruit, fibre? You can do cheap, like swap the cornflakes for fruit n fibre, wholemeal pasta, passata instead of jarred sauce, some tinned tuna, and sardines for omega 3, and throw in some broccoli and carrots, and some apples and oranges. Cheap meat cuts like liver is way better than sausages. Sweet potatoes are cheap.
