Thank you for demonstrating a variety of efficient and cost effective ways to follow and maintain the protocol. Just a note that dates are often GMO, so try to find 'non-GMO'. For the rice casserole, you could make a summer version by cooking the brown rice and seasoned, tomato liquid in a rice cooker or instapot and add the raw veggies and beans before eating. Refreshing in hot weather .

Great ideas! Yes I usually buy organic dates in bulk, but for this video I wanted to try to only use what I could find at Aldi.

Great video 👌. My favourite was the rice and bean casserole. I live in Australia and our Aldi store has very few fresh items in containers, so the bulk of fruit and veggies you can pick what you want.

Interesting! Yes every Aldi is a little bit different, but every one I've been to around here has all the produce in containers or bags. Glad you enjoyed the video!

You are such an inspiration for others. Thank you for sharing😊 Btw, dried beans are cheaper, tastier, more nutritious and yield lots more than canned beans. Tips for cooking dried beans and legumes: presoak and rinse the dry beans each day for one to three day before cooking. Bean soup or just plain beans can feed a large family.

Thank you! And yes, dried beans are great! I love that you can control the sodium level too!

Sugar and red meat are highly inflammatory so avoiding them and processed foods is important. I have gotten so much great information from another KZbin channel, Healthy Immune Doc. Dr. Liu has so much info on what foods are anti inflammatory as well as supplements. I take her information and then find recipes on channels like this that incorporate those foods. There are also good recipes for smoothies that help boost your immune system I fill a blender with 2/3 kale, spinach or broccoli, a banana, cup of almond milk, a T of chia seeds and ground flax and ACV and two cups of mixed berries. There’s lots of helpful info and recipes on you tube.

Dang, I love your videos. Oh, do you happen to have a link for the Westbrae Stone Ground Mustard?
@showmemovegan6 ай бұрын
I'm so glad you enjoyed! I usually get the Westbrae salt-free mustard in large cases from Amazon, but it has been out of stock for months! Since then I've been using this Organicville brand, which also has a salt-free stone ground option. I think it tastes about the same as Westbrae, and I actually like the bottle of this brand better. This is my Amazon affiliate link so I may receive a small commission through this link: amzn.to/3RB6qGs

Is the food you prepared just for one person per week?
@showmemovegan5 ай бұрын
It's difficult to answer that question because everyone requires a different amount of food. But yes for someone who eats like me, this would feed 1 to 2 people for 5 to 7 days.
