I watch a few channels like this one. Aldi are doing really well against the big brands. I mean this is almost £2 cheaper. When you're trying to save money with all the bills going up. These videos really help. I've tried a lot of the Aldi food seen in these videos and it's always been nice. Keep up the good work. I like your videos. :_)

Aldi n lidle have been better than Asda n tescos n places for years now and not just on price even on quality and variety too sometimes...lidles meat is better asda n tesco inject there meat too add weight too it your chicken breast shrinks too half the size lol...but for 96% off the time the same stuff it's half the cost sometimes the mince in lidles you can get for £1.60 asda is double that...and the deluxe sorta ranges in aldi n lidle are better than asda and tesco deluxe ranges...end off the day though it really all comes down too how well you can cook with fresh ingredients in works out cheaper cook in bulk if you can make use off potatoes n rice n oats n these type things and you can cook anything you want really for cheap just bulk it out if your on a super low budget with loads kids n that...cheers

Yet another qaulity review OFG. I prefer my porridge thick plus because of the price difference I'd go for.the Aldi. The Aldi price is amazing. Cheers. 👍👍👍

Just subscribed to your Chanel. Looks like you have many good tips. The oats so simple are nice but being Scottish ye canny beat the good ol' Scott's porridge oats. A bit dearer but we'll worth it.👍. Keep up the good work🏴

Great video! I’ve recently started having the steel cut oats in the instant pot, oh my goodness! The difference! Proper ‘stick to your ribs’ so just add bit more milk and they’re delicious. Bit more of a faff but now we’re newly retired we’ve got the time☺️

I do normal oats in microwave …still 2 mins, all oats are instant, except those marketed as instant can have added sugar or flavouring.

As soon as they where in the bowl you could see what your paying extra for but an extra £2, not sure it's worth it I prefer mine like proper porrage thick but not too thick, I don't want wallpaper paste, the Aldi one is definitely more like wallpaper paste, I'd probably get the Aldi and add extra milk to it
@itskeithnNat2 жыл бұрын
That's right mate save money get the aldi one and add milk

If your going to spend 80p on porridge you might as well get a kilo bag and save more money Aldi do a basic and a copy or as I put it a rough and a smooth with the smooth being the cheapest and the best as I think it's what they sweep off the floor and bag it That pour the milk in the hand experience not the best sensation did it once when I was away with fruity one so sweet hated it The old saying less is more... Its all oats just the way it's been milled and blended Your paying for the name and the waxy bags and years of experience and buying the best oats and paying the farmers well? Let's hope

oats are oats, I microwave all own brands for 2 minutes & they’re all just fine. Even better when adding Blueberries. “instant oats” is just marketing and a waste of time & money.
