Wow...here in Australia we just take the product back to the aldi store and get refunded after showing receipt.

Thank you for the advice regarding safety issues with this unit. I recently purchased the same item for under £20. I have not used it yet.

To be fair the company had sent out a replacement...but we have not used it either....Its possible the unit just had a random fault but to be honest the extreme way this exploded its not worth the risk.. I'm just glad no one was hurt.
