Well actually there is competition, as the taste test and price difference didn't match, so in essence Aldi had the best value for the price verses taste. E.G. the Aldi taste wasn't as good all the time but often enough as M&S was ALWAYS more expensive!

This is why I never listen when people on TikTok say m&s is just as cheap as other supermarkets! They always show extremely basic items that you don’t often buy 😅 its 100% better quality but there’s a significant price difference
