I run into a situation when spironolactone and eplerenone lead to very high levels of aldosterone mimicking aldosteronism.. So in this case what would be the best diuretic? p.s. patient allergic to furosemide. What would be the correct step.

I am taking this for acne. Today is my first day on the pill and i am expierncing extreme nausua, even vomiting. My dermatologist never checked my blood levels before putting me on this medication. I've been reading so many horror stories about this drug, should i get off of it?

I have severe hypertension and my aldosterone tested at almost zero. The doctor placed me on an Aldosterone antagonist. Am I crazy, or was that the absolute wrong thing to do?

It's a moot point now. I never took it, I was just taken off a heavy duty beta blocker, Losartan and Amlodapine for a diuretic, more losartan and verapamil. Thanks for the reply!
