A Hollywood 'gun trope' that has done more to convince the public to be 'anti-gun' is the movie gun that goes off when dropped. A family member actually said to me that it was unsafe to have guns in her house because "what if it falls over and goes off". This comes from Hollywood movies and Anthony is right-on about this: It's nearly impossible with any modern guns. It just doesn't happen. Funny thing is - you will undoubtedly hear about murders (you can find some on YT) where the shooter (usually a wife) reports that "the gun accidentally went off" and this immediately tells police they have a good foul play case to investigate since they know that almost NEVER happens. Likewise, people admitted to hospitals claiming 'they dropped the gun and it went off' are quickly flagged for self-harm/suicide attempts because, again, its almost impossible with modern-era guns. IF the NRA ever wanted to 'deconvert' millions of gun control types of voters - they could simply do a big public education campaign on just that single fear alone. Debunk that, show its Hollywood and even play those gun manufacturer videos where they purposely safety test their own guns by loading them and repeatedly dropping the over and over from many heights, surfaces etc. *nope, so far, a semi-auto rifle hasn't accidentally kept spraying bullets as it tumbled down stairs either!* ala Schwarzeneggers 'True Lies'.

Anthony is so good at explaining things. I preferred the O&A Anthony over the Compound Anthony though, cause on O&A he was more relaxed, he didn't need to yell like he does now. It's probably something he has to do, cause he's carrying the whole show by himself, it can't be easy.. But I think he's better as a reactionary comic. He was so relaxed on O&A, I always liked him cause it seemed like he wasn't forcing himself to be loud or trying to keep the viewers' attention. But now, in this new modern era of media, the viewers have unbelievably short attention spans, so I understand his position. Well, there are people on set for safety and they handle props, like the gun itself. It was a real gun, but a prop to the actor. They handle it for the actor. I know people like to conveniently forget about that. The safety person didn't really know what they were doing and alec baldwin doesn't seem like that much of an expert. He failed a lot of safety guidelines and so did the safety person on the set. Do you think a high paid hollywood actor supplies his own gun and bullets and loaded it himself with rounds he purchased because hes out shooting all the time?
