It’s not fully Alec fault but he didn’t know it’s a real gun which it scary! He thought it was prop which it’s very sad he shot her by accident but it’s not his fault

He was the on set producer, he is responsible for making sure all safety protocols are fallowed protocols that were put in place after Brandon Lee was killed on set, he did not complete the safty training on how to properly decock a single action revolver ,he was handed a gun that had live rounds in it when there never should have been live rounds on set he didn't follow the chain of custody of the wepon, he lied when he said he never pulled the trigger, that was the only way the gun would fire. It was an accident but he was absolutely responsible as a producer who hired an inexperienced armorer who should have been on site anytime a wepon is handled not off set hungover. He has never taken accountability for his own actions and negligence.

@@MathieuLLF True fault lies with her but Alec Baldwin still shares the responsibility as the producer who hired her and allowed live rounds on set to begin with and his failure to be trained on proper firearm safety, they weren't filming, they were just setting up the shot there was no reason for him to cock the weapon, just like there was no reason for the wepon to even have been loaded. Ultimately the chain of custody of the weapon was not followed the person who handed him the weapon was told it was a cold gun but he never checked to confirm, that is a break in safty protocol, Alec Baldwin's lack of training to properly and safely decock the weapon was his failure, the first thing anyone is told when handling a firearm is to always assume it is loaded, your finger should never be on the trigger unless you intend to fire the weapon. Alec Baldwin's role as on set producer makes him accountable for what happens on set and to ensure all protocols are followed, and as the one who actually fired the weapon makes him responsible, while as armorer Gutierrez was grossly negligent and started the chain of events she has been found guilty on her part now Alec Baldwin should be held responsible for his part.

@@MathieuLLF That's my biggest problem with Alec Baldwin, he hasn't taken any responsibility, he gave an interview where he said, he never pulled the trigger, but the weapon was not defective, so he had to have pulled the trigger, he has said that it wasn't his fault, he blamed others. Had he just taken accountability for his own actions and accepted the consequences then I wouldn't have an issue with it, but him giving a 15 minute interview to ABC News and claiming that he had no idea that members of the crew were voicing their concerns about safety and short cuts to protocols leading to several of them walking of the film days prior to the accident, is my biggest issue especially when internal documents showed several complaints were made to IATSE, the film workers union.
