I love how this video is filmed in a greenhouse because it's such an oxymoron: This song is about love dying out, and yes Alec is bruised, but look at the life in the room, sprouting from everywhere. To me, this signifies that although Alec sings that he isn't sure he should try to light a match in the rain, he's truly telling us, the viewers, to try. Where there is life, there is hope.
