Thank you for checking out this series! Loved this build. Now I just want to make more stilettos :') Big thank you to Nord for sponsoring this episode: Go to NordVPN.com/forge and use code FORGE to get 75% off a 3 year plan and an extra month for free. If you want to check out the Stiletto, see more photos and maybe add it to your collection, it's on the site! alecsteeleshop.com/ Thanks again!

Dear Mr Steele - here's an idea for some future build - how about a pair of blades? or two complimentary pieces such as a shield and sword? it would be awesome to see a unified style across two different processes (a scabbard perhaps?)

the piece turned out really nice. you are one heck of a craftsman to be such a young person. i would love to see you make a short sword with out using all the fancy tools you have. using the power hammer to forge the billet is one thing , but hand forge the rest. using the basic tools to make the finished blade

Make a Roman pugio (dagger) and gladius (18-20 inch sword) between the two, the 30+inch swords of the French and British were beaten more times than not. Both elegant, efficient designs.

The pattern weld u put on the chefs knife is my favorite. Here's why. The best, most skillfull warriors, especially samurai, would have blood on only the first 6 inches of their blade. The Damascus pattern of the chefs knife would serve so very well, in trying to perform bladesmanship with such accuracy. With all love and respect I say, pls make a sword with it, whether Japanese or European or whatever! Much love from the us!

For jewellery purposes I was always taught to clean the pieces very thoroughly with a toothbrush after sand blasting as embedded particles can absorb oil from your hands! Might be worth trying out!

If you'd like to be able to maintain any given finish (such as the recessed patina, the bight polishes, etc), look into Renaissance Wax. It's great stuff.
