Inarguably, the most ingenious Idol ever. He propelled to the top singing originals on a show lending its hand to karaoke performances. There's really no sense in blaming Idol for the fact that he didn't win it all; he defied the odds of this platform through sheer brilliance. Nah. Laine is just a better talent show competitor. Laine can crush Alejandro in Karaoke. Laine will also likely fade into obscurity after one popular album since every winner is able to put out an album and have it sell. Then he will be irrelevant, like so many other past winners. Alejandro will have many albums. Perhaps they won't sell as much as Laine's first album, but he will have a long and respected career with many hits that he himself wrote. He will likely have some movie scores.
