I really appreciate your help with gen chem, but it really doesn't help when you write out the answers incorrectly.

Thanks, but it looks like you accidentally wrote down 523 instead of 525 during 4:09 of the video

I put it in my calculator and it turns out the answer is 523000 J which then becomes 523 kJ

Good explanation but be careful because you´re putting 10^3 which is 10,000 instead of 1,000 so it will lead to errors

Can you clarify what you mean by this comment? Are you saying that 10^3 = 10,000? 10^3 = 10x10x10 = 1000.

@@RoxiHulet My mistake, I think my calculator gives error when I put 10^3 shows 10,000

@@fabianacastaneda754 It sounds like you are using EE or EXP. If you just enter 10^3 (no other buttons) your calculator should give 1000. If you are using the EE or EXP button somewhere, such as 10EE3 or 10EXP3, your calculator will give you 10,000. The EE and EXP buttons mean "times 10 to the___" so if you enter 10EE3, your calculator interprets that as 10 times 10^3. If you want to use the EE or EXP buttons, you need to enter 1EE3, which your calculator interprets as 1 x 10^3.
