Hayley has one of the most underrated voices of all time. I'll argue she has one of the most talented voices in rock of all time. Not just one of the best female vocalists, one of the best ever

Right! Any band would be pleasured to have her as a vocalist. She headbangs, she dances on stage, she rocks, she freaking hits high notes in one sitting, sometimes while laying down, most of the time headbanging.

What’s crazy is that her recorded range (lowest to highest notes sang in studio), the only vocalist who has a bigger range is Mariah Carey, and I think some of that is because Mariah throws her voice all over the fucking place on high notes.

What is even more impressive is that she never even takes a break during solos, or between chorus and verses. Constantly interacting with the rest of the band and audience. I love Hayley Williams ♥️

This is literally the first ever vocal coach reaction I've seen where the vocal coach doesn't just sit there watching the video saying how good the person is singing but actually talks about the technique behind it, which is exactly what I have been looking for!! Thank you so much for this video

You should watch Sam Johnson. He is even more detailed and analytic about the singers he reacts to.

Imo her version of this in the green 97X room was the best or my favorite at least. Also, her black and white acoustic version of "Decode" is incredible and certainly worth a reaction. 🫡

Not a big fan of the song, though I realize that the technical difficulty is admirable. Great analysis!

Your overly protective view on singing honestly doesn't produce results. It's not just about learning scales and techniques safely, there's a dirty trial and error period. She took lessons after she already was belting F#5,G5s in her first 2 albums. Yes it's good to learn, but you don't need to be "supervised." You need to make the crazy noises and do it wrong 100 times so that 101st time you understand it and can begin to do it correctly.
