Hey, usually going over couple of online courses or books is a good start. There really is no right way to go about this, you simply just get into whichever course or book you choose first. One thing that is important would be what knowledge you currently have. There are certain prerequisites that you need if you want to understand ethical hacking/cyber security in whichever path you go. Knowledge of Networking, Linux primarily and other operating systems is something that you should be familiar with. There might be more things specific depending on which path exactly you plan on going in the security field
