In my 50's now, have worked for myself since my 20's. My businesses are across several in person industries - tech, global art, global art education, tabletop gaming, and global event management (1 event/mo). The industries and product/services I serve compliment each other in varying ways, while allowing me to pivot when an industry has a slag in global performance (covid was brutal in events, but tech was running overtime to keep business's going). My time is my kryptonite - I build my businesses to passive with teams and systems I can trust, to keep them going without my daily governance. I have also been willing to stop several new businesses that were not going to ultimately perform in my portfolio - they are never a "loss", but quality control for overall performance & always a learning experience. "Stacking" has been my key to success. I'm now putting energy into a passive income online business, and your videos are absolute gold. I can see so much potential and can't wait to kick off this new business adventure - thank you. 🎉

Try writing on Medium, just don't publish anything until you have around 50-100 articles pre-prepared. You have to pay a monthly fee in order to earn money and that monthly fee isn't worth it if you can't keep up, or don't have many articles, that's why it is very, very important to prepare your articles first before publishing them. The monthly fee is around 5 dollars a month. Hope it helps.

FYI, selling on Etsy is not as free or as easy as this video sounds. It’s not just “Design a tshirt and upload it to Etsy, they do all the work!” There are hundreds of thousands of Etsy sellers and to get your product seen and sold you DO have to a lot of work. You need to do product research, marketing/ads with SEO, listings optimization, seller customer service, you need to create store components (logo, branding, assets, auto-emails, social media pages), and then you need to be creating/listing products and addressing returns/unhappy customers if any (drop shipping products always gets at least a few)

Just appeal the ban. It's somewhat 'normal' for a brand new shop to get suspended if Etsy can't immediately verify the owner's information. They'll reinstate it if you didn't break any rules 👍
@CageFreeWeed17 күн бұрын
@@FunnyShellBear Lol, appreciate the comment! Further context.. I swear I'm a small business designer trying to sell my apparel, as-intended on a small business designer marketplace for original products. Maybe I misread something in the 30 page "Terms of Service", but I'm not sure what makes @etsy think I'm a scamful Chinese ripoff bot or whatever. Totally lame and counter to the mantra of Etsy, but who cares about that right. The algorithm said no. It just seems odd that I followed Alex's direction to sell my clothing designs through drop-ship on Etsy, exactly how he does, and with zero explanation as to why (no email, no warnings, no communication at all from Etsy, a human, or a lawyer.. ;) ) I'm now banned from Etsy forever.... I'm not the only one as I'm seeing the same exact scenario pop up all over Reddit. Seems like Etsy isn't going to be around much longer if that's what they're doing these days. I guess I should tweet them about it to get a real answer. Was hoping Alex might have insight...
@CageFreeWeed17 күн бұрын
@@alekSheffy Thanks for the comment! I immediately appealed the "decision" despite zero communication email or otherwise from Etsy explaining the ban, as their terms stated they would. Just a ban notice with a link to appeal. I submitted my appeal, and the response was essentially "we reviewed your appeal and have suspended your account permanently and any other accounts you try to create in the future" Like.. what? I feel there would need to be some major precedence and blatant violation of the platform or its users to make that kind of decision. It's either suspiciously vague on purpose (not sure what that reasoning would be), or Etsy is unknowingly sabotaging itself in order to dodge investing in an actual solution for combating fake sellers using drop-shipping. Totally contradictory in whatever scenario that I'm even having to write about this whole experience. If Etsy had a customer service email or chat or number, I would be sure to send them this information and appeal once again, but unfortunately that doesn't exist either for some reason :)
