The actions or steps you do to attain success determine its outcome. Developing sound habits, such as consistently setting aside money for reliable investments at regular periods, is essential to accumulating wealth. I agree! That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.

My company paid a consultant to provide retirement classes when I was 24 and just started saving for retirement. The class was called "The Kids Table" and basically their advice was go with a target retirement fund that aligned with your 65th birthday. That was 20 years ago. It is the only thing I've ever invested in. How else can I grow my finance?

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.

To provide some balance….this equates to a lot of personal time, and ongoing, and you can’t buy time; you’ll realise as you get older around you that life is valuable & short so don’t waste it being sucked in by IT and chasing making more money a priority in your ‘doing years’. Good point made on not relying on one revenue stream but for the majority out there with a heavy mortgage and day to day costs, perhaps with a family, there is little time to think further or have anything spare to invest; most of these suggestions apply to an extremely small amount of fortunate people. Folks living their lives and being happy is key to a long happy life rather than having lots of money (having been in IT 30 years and retiring wealthy with one revenue stream) but each to their own. Stage 1: Invest in yourself, evaluate present situation versus where you want to be and only buy what you REALLY need along the way.

I believe you are well intentioned with your post - but we live in a different world where any form of success requires multiple income streams AND job security is far from guaranteed. Plus wages & salaries have really stagnated. With respect - the world is very different for millennials & gen z vs retiring boomers. Thanks!

Thank you so much for all your insightful advice! I'm gradually exploring your channel, so if you've already covered this, I'm sure I'll come across it eventually. However, if not, would you consider creating a video or sharing a template for calculating an ideal salary or income? I'm currently in the early stages of rebuilding my career after relocating to a new country, and having a structured way to determine the income I should strive for-based on both my current needs and potential future considerations-would be incredibly helpful. Thank you again!

My income is mostly #2 Dividends and #5 Active Income with a little bit of #8 Affiliate links. Working on #1 KZbin (from a different account) and #3 Community. Gained about $60 of donations from that this year.

Thank you for all your lovely advice :) I'm still slowly moving through your channel so if you've already done this I'm sure I'll find it but if not, would you consider making a video or suggesting a template for calculating your ideal salary/income? I'm in the beginnings of developing my career (again) after moving country and it would be so helpful to have a structured way of imagining what income I should aim for based on my current needs but of course things I may be overlooking for my future self. Thank you!
