so beautiful. does anyone have any idea what instrument / timbre is used for the melodic / colundi high end? hard to describe, spell like?

no idea what kind of production process is used by Aleksi Perala but the tones have very little manipulation as far as I can hear.. lots of sine wave saw wave sounds. just very nicely arranged with great use of dynamics. very minimal and very creative.

I don't think the timbres are that unusual for a synth, I think he's using some unusual micro tuned scales. Sounds very enchanting.

@@Blackrockjazzclub Thanks for clearing that up! I knew it sounded familiar...i think the X5 used on this was originally released with an anti-flaccid, 5-Finger fondling module enhancer. Either way, a beauty to behold!
