nassreiskulturen And the drummer is Benjamin Oak Goodman, who has some good solo material. I saw these folks open for Blitzen Trapper years ago, another great group of musicians!

Someone send this to Jools Holland, he needs to get her on his show.

Well said. It would make a nice change from all the 1990s 'lad-rock' bands that are on every series and always seem to get three songs and an interview! There are some wonderful female singer-songwriters out there, both new and not so new, who are writing and recording new material and deserve wider recognition and support. Along with Alela Diane, I would suggest Mariee Sioux, Rachel Sermanni, Eliza Shaddad, Heather Nova and Jasmine Rodgers.
